I had the Eggs Benedict, which is usually a dicey proposition. Too often eggs end up rubbery, and you have small portions that leave you hungry. But not here! Picture this – a harmonious blend of perfectly poached eggs nestled atop a bed of savory breakfast ham, adorned with lemon-infused hollandaise sauce, and just a hint of paprika to tantalize your taste buds.

My brother had the Sunrise Breakfast Burrito which was bursting with the goodness of fluffy eggs, crispy hashbrowns, and a melange of Monterey Jack and cheddar cheese, all enveloping savory sausage, it's a flavor explosion you won't soon forget.

My review of sunny side:

Coffee: smooth. Delicious. Perfect. Temperature is perfect.

Cinnamon roll: ok. I’m not going to be dramatic; this is my honest/non-biased reaction… Oh my Lord that was the best pastry item I’ve ever experienced in my life. I’m not the biggest sweet guy and this is a perfect demonstration of what a cinnamon roll should taste like. 10/10

Breakfast burrito: I picked it up and knew… A perfectly balanced burrito with no drips of grease, a well mixed array of eggs, cheese, bacon, and sausage was yet another demonstration on how to take a simple item like a breakfast burrito and make it their own. I order a breakfast burrito at every breakfast restaurant and I would put this in my top 3 of all time. It isn’t overly heavy and I think the thing that put the cherry on top is the homemade salsa. Sunnyside has done it again and I thank the amazing staff for the A+ service. I was welcomed in with open arms.

Cheesecake: wait… there’s more? As I see our waitress exit the kitchen and approach our table with a smile on her face, it’s like she was just trying to send me to the moon with excitement. She set it on the table and I swear there was a beem of light that magnified the plate. Coincidence? Nay. I higher power reaching onto the table about to tickle my central nervous system with a delicious bite of cheesecake. Honestly, right now I can’t put it into words. I kid you not when I say this place was FANTASTIC. Living nearby, I’ve been waiting for this place to finally open and today was the big day, so I knew I had to go!! Walking in right away, you’re hit with the cutest aesthetic and friendly staff. The menu is limited to a couple pages, but I feel that everything would’ve been a good choice; it all sounded so good. I came starving and ended up choosing the avocado toast, chilaquiles, and overnight oats.

Avocado toast: The bread was thick and crunchy, bacon was crispy, and egg was perfectly poached. Avocado could’ve been thicker, but that’s okay. Chilaquiles: Not traditional, chips are not fried in the salsa verde so they stayed crispy (which I actually liked better!) so they are basically breakfast nachos. Salsa was amazing, I could drink the stuff. Overnight oats: Good! They are served chilled and have chia seeds mixed in, which is a nice touch. I like all the fruit on top too. It was not super sweet and was very filling. A nice thing to grab on the go I think.

Coffee (no picture): I got a latte and it was so cute with a design. They have a big fancy machine, so I just knew it would be good. I was not disappointed! Wish I got some OJ to go with it - next time!

Overall: The ambience for the place is great, everything looks like it was picked with care. There is lots of parking outside and even more seating inside. The staff was friendly and attentive and gave great suggestions to me. I would come here again! Glad to such a nice new spot to come too for...
