Castaño’s Sushi House is, without a doubt, one of the best sushi restaurants I’ve ever visited. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a chic, modern setting with just the right amount of Japanese influence to create an inviting and intimate atmosphere. The star of the show, of course, is the sushi. The Searcy Roll was a revelation! A perfect balance of flavors and textures, with fresh fish, creamy avocado, and a delightful crunch. It’s one of those rolls that keeps you coming back for more. The seafood tempura was also exceptional—light, crispy, and not overly greasy, with a variety of perfectly cooked seafood that melts in your mouth. The tempura batter was airy, complementing the natural flavors of the shrimp and fish beautifully. Their sushi and rolls are made with the freshest ingredients, and the attention to detail in each dish is clear. Every bite is a flavor explosion! The quality of the seafood, the delicate rice, and the creativity in the specialty rolls really set Castaño’s apart from other sushi spots. The service was impeccable. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations. Whether you’re a seasoned sushi enthusiast or someone trying it for the first time, they’ll guide you through the menu with ease. Castaño’s Sushi House is a gem, and the Searcy Roll and seafood tempura are must-tries! I’m already looking forward to...
Read moreThe food was delicious but the experience was poor. First of all, we were one of three groups in there, where they had seating for maybe twenty groups in total. They sat us at one of their cheap booths right behind another group so we weren't able to use the back rest without jostling them. The cushions were almost non existent. It felt like someone laid a thin blanket over metal springs. Then we had to wait 15 minutes to order, and once we finally did, it took almost 40 minutes to get our food. During that wait, the other party left, and someone promptly came to spray industrial strength cleaner on their table right next to us. Not something I want to smell and breathe while I'm eating. Lastly, when we were handed our ticket, the waitress refused to take payment and said we have to pay at the front register. I felt I was being generous by leaving a 10% tip, when I normally leave 20+%. I recommend ordering to go to enjoy the good food without dealing with...
Read moreLet me start by saying OUT with the old restaurant and IN with this new one! Wow! We were hesitant to try this since it was in the same establishment as the old sushi place. I’m glad my husband and I went in and gave it a go. My husband and I have eaten at many sushi restaurants around the US and this one is top three for us! Their portions are wonderful, the sushi is creative, fun, and beautifully crafted. The rice was wonderful and the crab ragoons were like dessert, so good! It may be a bit pricier than some of the other restaurants but it is worth it to us to have QUALITY sushi. This is our new go to Sushi place in the area. Wonderful job and please keep up the amazing food and quality you’ve...
