I am way overdue to leave a review for this wonderful hidden gem!!!💕 I visited Seattle with my sister, young niece and son back in September of 2024 and we craved Chilean food so bad! My sister and I are originally from Chile and have lived in the US for almost 25 years now. We miss Chilean food!!!! She was craving a pastel de choclo and I craved something with manjar! We called ahead to see if they had what we wanted available. Rogelio answered and was so nice, he told us to come by and he’ll make something for us, even if we arrive at closing time. When we arrived, it was like being a guest in a Chilean home all over again! We were treated like VIP celebrities! Rogelio was beyond hospitable and attentive. We ended up staying for almost 2 hours🙈 Rogelio never rushed us or looked stressed. He was happy to serve us. That was our last day in Seattle before returning home to Spokane. We left happy...
Read moreWOW! This place is a small, locally owned, shop located within a mini mart. The owner and chef of the place was so friendly. As soon as we walked in he said hello. He also gave suggestions on food items and let us know some items were unavailable. There were two people working to support customers, and I'd say they were quick and efficient. We ordered two italianos (#1), a cheese impanada, and a spinach impanada. After ordering, Ricardo (owner and chef) offered a special sandwich which was similar to ! #1, but with cheese.
GUYS. THE FOOD IS AMAZING. The flavors are authentic and fresh which paired well with the homemade bread and perfectly grilled beef. The impanadas were cheesy, fluffy, and had a slight crunch on the crust.
We googled local places and found this little place. We gave it a shot and it is HIGHLY recommended you all do the...
Read moreFantastic sandwiches! We had the Milanese and Lomo al Jugo, which were both full of flavor. In addition, the bread's flavor was also super unique. We'll be back to try more of his sandwiches.
The owner took care of us while he was prepping for the rest of the day since we came in right around when he was opening up. He was super friendly and told us about how opening this restaurant is his dream. He also gave us small cups of coffee to finish our meal! It was a delight to experience his passion for making Argentinian/Chilean food more accessible here!
Thanks so much for the incredible experience!
His restaurant is located just inside the grocery store and has a few tables to sit at.
If you'd like a drink, you can pick one up at the convenience/grocery store so there's plenty of selection. (the owner will...
