Had one of the worst dinner's I've had in a very long time tonight. Walked in just before 8pm, friendly servers. Water & bread came out promptly. Placed our order for cocktails, cauliflower bites, rockfish, and shrimp pasta. Cocktails were great, cauliflower bites were terrible. Tasted like frozen cauliflower deep fried and sat out for a while. They weren't crispy, and they did not taste like fresh cauliflower that had been deep fried, which is what they should've tasted like. After 45 minutes since we placed our order I asked if our entrees would be out soon. She checked and said we will be the next ticket up and asked if we wanted more bread. Ordered a cider & a beer. Entrees finally come out almost an hour after placing the order. Rockfish had the flavor but the texture was disgusting. It wasn't fresh or flaky, it almost had a chicken-like texture. What happened? I've had fish & chips from any given place taste like it just came out of the water compared to this. Shrimp pasta, no sauce, no flavor. Had a nice kick from red pepper flakes which I appreciated, but I needed to flag down the server to ask for a big side of parmesean cheese. She had a plate to serve in hand and said she would bring it after but she forgot. After waiting a bit longer I walked up to the kitchen and asked another server and she did bring it over promptly. Dumped both cups onto the pasta and it tasted much better but it had gotten lukewarm. Ended up walking up to the cashier to ask for the check and to grab a box for the pasta. $120 total spent and utterly disappointed, I will never go back. Such a shame as it's only 5 mins from home. I've eaten at BluWater restaurants before and I don't remember it being so bad, on the contrary I remember it being decent or good.

Needed a place to go for Thanksgiving dinner. Bluwater Bistro in Leschi is known for their Easter brunches so I thought it was a solid bet. Glad I called for a reservation even if it was only 30 minutes in advance because when we got there the line was outside the door and the restaurant was packed… we were seated immediately. We were offered a three-course dinner for $59. Prime rib, or turkey, with soup or salad to open the meal and pumpkin pie to wrap it up. There was a menu with other items, but it was Thanksgiving so we went with the prix fixe menu. I had the butternut squash soup and both of us agreed: it was amazing and flavor and really loved the rustic texture. The salad was fresh with the right combination of nuts and dried cranberries, and thankfully not oversaturated with dressing. I had the prime rib was nice and thick but found it was on the dry side. Thankfully, there was au jus and an amazing horseradish sauce. Friend had his turkey and pronounced it was good. Honestly, didn’t love the pumpkin pie. But the Pinot Noir we had was excellent. $15/glass. The best part was the service. Between Alexia, the legendary bartender, and Zach our server, we were set. In fact, one of the things we noticed was how swift and attentive the service was, despite the restaurant being packed — there is no shortage of servers who busily went around. Also, thankfully, they turned on the Seahawks game when it started at 5 o’clock.

Everything was amazing. My husband and I went to celebrate our anniversary, tonight. We both had the special, 1 glass of wine and he had 2 beers. I also ordered 2 Tiramisu to go, each $14.00, for a total of $195.80 The one star is for the following reason: So imagine my disappointment when we got home to enjoy our dessert and this is what $28 of Tiramisu looks like…. I really don’t care if it is a Holiday or Not, this right here is shameful and intentional deceit. Shame on you for charging $14 per crumb, because this isn’t even considered a Serving….. Very disappointed I wasn’t going to post a follow-up, until I received this in the mail. I called the restaurant and spoke to a female mgr, who’s attitude screamed she wanted to be anywhere else but there. After I explained what occurred, there was no apology, no sincerity, nothing Just what’s your name and address And this is what she sent. A BLANK card and a $20 gift- which doesn’t even the cover the cost of the abysmal dessert that they charged. So if you like their food great, just don’t expect them to fix their mistakes, and god forbid someone apologize, because they won’t. You might get lucky and get a Blank FU card with a $20 gift card.

We made reservations for mother's day (which we have learned that this was a poor choice on our end) and the hostess reluctantly sat us at a table. The table was not clean, it still had dirty used cups from its prior customers and was not ready for new customers to sit at. Our waitress Michelle was quite rude to us while ordering. I understand that it is mother's day and the volume of people here is going to be more than usual but customer service should still be a priority. My mom had asked a question about the mother's day mimosa's and she rudely dismissed her question and responded with "you want it or what." My mom is also lactose intolerant and had asked for more options for the side since she cannot eat the mash potatoes. Michelle said she could order the baby reds and so my mom went with that. The wait was fine since we were already expecting the kitchen to be backed up for an hour. But when our food arrived, our steaks were very red inside (we asked for well), and they had given my mom mash potatoes with her entree. We asked for them to be able to change it to the baby reds since that is what she ordered and they said that would be okay. Not once did anyone check up to see if our meal is okay. My mom had asked Michelle if her food was going to come out soon, since the rest of the family had almost finished their food, and Michelle then responded with it not being her fault since no one told her that the kitchen did not bring out the right food. She just assumed that my mom finished her food quickly. The only solution they gave my mom was taking off the entree she never received. This honestly has been so embarrassing as the daughter because we wanted to be able to celebrate how much our mom means to us. For her to be dismissed, not checked up on, and neglected of her meal was truly a memorable mother's day in the worst way possible.

I am in disbelief with how my mom was treated this evening and it may take some time before we are able to go back to your establishment. We have never been treated this poorly here and I understand that this is for sure because of the sheer volume of customers and the heat. But we ask that customer service is still...

TLDR: BluWater never started on an order that they accepted and charged me for what was likely the last Father's Day celebration dinner with father in law on hospice care. Did not even inform me that they couldn't fill the order until we've already waited a whole hour. No help when contacted customer service which routes to a call center, not the restaurant. Worse, they waited days to refund the order after my multiple calls/emails requesting it.

Placed a delivery order via BluWater's own website. An hour later around the ETA provided, standing outside waiting for the delivery to arrive, got a text that BluWater had just cancelled the order. Called restaurant directly per instruction, was routed to a call center who simply told me it's Father's Day, what do I expect? I expect a restaurant to stop taking orders it cannot fill and to inform customers promptly.

When I asked if I can go pick up my order instead, was told no and to place the order again online. Phone rep. for some reason felt the need to tell me repeatedly it was Father's Day.

Yes, I'm aware it was Father's Day. This was our dinner plan for my father in law who is on hospice care and cannot dine out.

No, I wasn't going to waste another hour while he was hungry and waiting with oxygen tubes. This unacceptably poor experience nearly ruined what is likely our last Father's Day with him. Will never dine with BluWater again.

To add insult to injury, the restaurant still haven't refunded my money for this cancelled order. The delivery service apparently can't get a hold of the restaurant manager either. My refund wasn't even "approved" because a manager was...
