Was excited to come here and try the pizza. Unfortunately, I didn't get the opportunity and will never come back due to the unwelcoming and uncomfortable experience my girlfriend and I had.

We went to park and noticed it was awfully dark inside but did manage to see a couple of people inside. We concluded it was still open and as we got closer, we saw there were barely any lights on figuring it was part of their aesthetic. When we went in, the bartender and the customers at the bar stared at us. We stood for a little bit waiting for someone to great us, but I had to go to the bathroom, so I looked around and noticed the corner where the restrooms were and walked over there. It was dark in the corner and in the bathroom so I pulled out my phone and used my flashlight to locate the light switches and clicked them but lights didn't turn on. Making me realize power was out. After using the bathroom and washing up, I came out to see my girlfriend still standing near the entrance. She said no one acknowledged her, despite their being a bartender who watched us walk in and the chefs in the kitchen looking out into the seating area with nothing to do. She told me she thinks the power is out, which I confirmed. So we just walked out back to the car. She mentioned she felt super uncomfortable that no one said anything to either of us at all. And it made me feel really bad just leaving her by herself while I used the restroom with people just staring at her.

How hard would it have been to inform customers walking in that the power is out and you aren't currently able...

I found this spot by walking my dog Venom 🐶, its in a nice quiet side of Jackson st in CD/leschi. They do trivia Tuesday and are known for their pizza but the chef is always experimenting with new dishes so you will need to just show up to see what he created that day. Be on the look out for the specials and any events as the weather gets better. Donald one of the owner and bartender is one of the best people ive ever met, friendly and always taking care of you even if the drink isn't on the menu he can make it happen. I love that they are always experimenting with new specials, it's good to keep things fresh. Im obsessed with the pepperoni pie, i know it may sound basic but the sause and crust are one of a kind and i can promise you you'll come back for. He has a full bar and are working on other options like incorporating flights into the menu. Still relatively new into the scene but if you're in the area stop by and look for Donald promise you he'll hook you up. Even if you dont have time to dine it, place a take out order of a pie you wont be disappointed 🤪🫡. Quality is very consistent 👍 thank you jackson street pizza lounge and donald for providing amazing...

We didn't like this Pizza. My family of 5 never agrees on anything, until now.

We ordered the chicken pesto and seasonal veggie pizzas

Pros: It was ready ahead of time and I was early picking it up, so that worked out. The atmosphere for dinning-in looks great, but this was takeout.

Cons: Crust was gritty and flavorless. Pies expensive for the size and ingredient load. Everything is expensive these days, but this was especially chintzy. Arugula pesto on the Chicken Pesto Pizza just tasted like bitter salt. I know arugula is bitter, but it should be there to compliment basil, not replace it..... just bad, really bad taste. The Seasonal Veggie Pizza had slices zucchini (as advertised), but the roasted garlic and squash blossoms were notably absent. The sauce, like the pizza in general, lacked any flavor.

We literally would have enjoyed frozen pizza from Safeway more than this... and next...

We live very nearby and stopped in for dinner for the first time on a Saturday 80s night. Not sure why we waited so long. The beet salad and focaccia mini bites were really yummy. The thin crust pizza was a nice surprise and really yummy. They allow half and half for same base pizzas which is really convenient if you can’t decide. The mushroom garlicky pizza is really good. The Italian could have had more meatballs. The decor inside was very unexpected and hard to describe. (see pics) We usually only see the chefs tossing pizza in the kitchen when you walk by because the seating area is so dark. The DJ was playing pretty loud but hubby really enjoyed his 80s music blasting. We’ll definitely go back but maybe not for the 80s throwback.

Wow, what an above & beyond experience at Jackson Street Pizza Lounge. The bar was filled with friendly faces, catchy music and scents of Italy. We were seated within 15 minutes but they took our drink orders while we swayed. Three of us split a pizza and two appetizers. The burrata is made in house and its milky texture pairs perfectly with buttery bites of Crostini. Ours sat on a vegetable medley with notes of truffle. The pizza is some of the best I've had in Seattle and the meatballs soft and juicy. The drinks were strong and the artwork only added to the energy in the lounge. We will be back and if we're lucky, regulars! Shout out to Archer & Donald for such great service!
