A thickly forested steep trail filled with the groves of evergreens and ferns that I so associate with Washington State slopes down to a long stretch of Green lawn that leads to Lake washington, with Bellevue's skyline across the sea. As Bellevue continues to grow and its buildings climb toward the sky, this view becomes more impressive, but the glassy softly rippling water of Lake Washington is always delightful. When I came here, soft raindrops from the typical Seattle drizzle were splashing into the lake and creating these soft circular ripples. There is a great mossy tree with heavy arcing boughs under which I took shelter and watched the pattering rain. After crossing Seattle west to east on foot to arrive here from downtown, the gentle and scenic terrain of this park was a...

Beautiful view there. Nice place to swim or kayak. You can BBQ and sit back. It does get crowded when the weather is nice. So you have to arrive early to pick out your spot if your decision to BBQ. There are some shop and a small grocery market near by just in case your forgot something for your BBQ or you decide to get something to eat. There is also Starbucks too. The only issue there is no public restrooms as they advertise, they closed it down. And they didn't put any honeybucket. Just note that Starbucks also does not allow public to use their restrooms. You have to purchase something to be able to use...

This is a great park for all ages. There is a bbq pavilion that you can reserve, lots of picnic tables and small bbq grills available. There is a load in area, bathrooms and area to launch personal flotation equipment. Lots of lawn area on a moderate slope facing the lake. This is an excellent place for swimming for all ability levels with a variety of places to enter the water without dealing with slimy rocks and milfoil weeds. There are no Seattle parks department lifeguards on duty as of yet. I like to enjoy the sunrises as the park faces east. This park loses direct sun after five-ish. The #2 bus has...

View is nice .Unfortunally people working at this parking lot cut corners.Even though, they demand bigger budgets every year for so called improvements.Yesterday at 830 in the morning I come with my coffee to see the lake and load my soul with the energy you receive from such beautiful view. But couldn't,why because a lazie worker didn't remove one the posts at the entrance of this parking causing an accident with car.If I own a company and an employee doesn't do his or her job properly, that person should be fired.Elon Musk, please bring Doge to the parks and recreation department in Seattle
