The service at this restaurant was excellent, but the food left much to be desired. When my meal arrived, the aroma was inviting, and the generous portions initially raised my expectations. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended.

The chimichangas were disappointing; both lacked seasoning, and one was soggy on the bottom, as shown in the photo. Additionally, the excessive oil made them unappetizing. The rice and beans, staples of any good Mexican meal, were also bland and completely unseasoned. Even the salsa, while passable, lacked the depth of flavor I’ve come to expect.

To make matters worse, the horchata was served with ice—a rarity in most Mexican restaurants—which diluted the drink quickly, leaving me with just a few sips.

Given the high prices, seemingly inflated due to the restaurant’s location, the quality of the food and drinks simply doesn’t justify the cost. Many smaller, unassuming places like food trucks or hole-in-the-wall restaurants offer far better, more flavorful meals at a fraction of the price. Sadly, this experience ensures I won’t...

Reminds me of home! Love the food, the atmosphere, and the service. Total authentic Mexican comfort food vibes. If you know California Mexican, this is totally up your alley and will leave you happy! Got a chicken enchilada with a glass of horchata!, delicious. My enchilada came with lettuce, guacamole, sour cream, and rice and beans. Rice and beans were great, enchiladas were great, and the horchata was great. I got to the restaurant about 10 mins or less from their closing time, and they still stayed open to allow me to eat my dinner undisturbed. Total family vibes all the way around!!! Thank god!!, I’ve found my new go-to Mexican joint. Also!, they give you free chips and salsa at your table, just as every true Mexican place should! Price point: paid about $24 bucks before tip with my drink and everything combined.

Eating out anywhere these days is just not as cheap as it used to be, but good quality and good service, is worth a good splurge every once in awhile. This place hits the mark and left me totally satisfied!!, WILL...

As a Texan, I am compelled to write this review - I'll start by saying that the service was great and people welcome you with smiles. However, the margs are alright but for that price I expect better. I wanted to have frozen but you really don't have a choice so you get 'on the rocks'. So far so good. But this is where it goes down - The food! I read so many reviews it being authentic but sorry to say food wasn't great. Usually the salsa tells you how your food is going to be and it seemed to be store bought. The Mexican plates appeared ok, but the fajitas were overcooked/dry and the entire plate was bland! The tortillas weren't fresh - maybe reheated or store bought. I am not going to bash the restaurant because apparently this is what people want but to the chef/workers you know what I am talking about. But if you are looking for authentic Mexican place - I can assure you this is not the place....

Terrible food. And don’t get me wrong, I wasn’t expecting authentic, we ordered a tostada and it was basically a lettuce salad on top of a soggy tortilla with some beans and some bland chicken breast, and they were expecting 14 dls for that. We didn’t even eat it and sent it back. The tacos al carbon were just some over cooked bland beef tacos. This is second time in my 10 years in Seattle that I didn’t eat anything and left. We weren’t charged so at least that was nice of them. Very polite people serving there but man, some really bad bad food. Find below the photo of the “tostada”. The guy said “We just don’t make tostadas in America like in Mexico”. Bro, I can’t even see the tostada, that was a soggy taco.

Authenticity warms my heart. Loved the entire experience. You are greeted with a feel as if you just stepped into the door of your abuelas house. Chips and the best salsa I have had thus far in Seattle. I had the fresh margarita which made the bike ride home fun. The chimichanga with picadillo was delicious. I had more than enough food with half a chimichanga to go home. I tried the flan for dessert and again its the authenticity for me. It wasn’t the prettiest flan but definitely made from the heart. Most of all I loved the music which completed the vibe. I’ll definitely be returning to try more from the menu.
