The customer service was good and the girls working were friendly and we had a pleasant conversation.
A few things about this spot are weird. Firstly, if you go to the walk up window. There is a chalk board with the specials written on it, in the top right corner is a lil whiteboard with the names of all the girls working that day. This is extremely off putting as a persons shift / name should not be public information! That’s so dangerous, especially since this stand seems to be mostly young women. I pointed this out to my barista and she agreed that it is weird but that she’s gotten used to it and most of their customers are regulars. Still, you shouldn’t have all the girls working that day listed in a public facing area. This is how stalking / assaults / harassment happen.
The coffee itself was extremely disappointing. I ordered my usual at every other coffee place, a caramel Latte with oatmilk. They informed me they only put one shot of espresso into a drink, and it is an upcharge to get the second shot. The espresso machine pulls two shots every time, so why not just do double espresso into every drink as the default like every other coffee shop does? Luckily my friend also ordered a drink so that second shot did not go to waste this time. My coffee tasted like straight up caramel syrup. The milk was not steamed enough and I ended up wasting this cup of coffee because it was so bad.
I won’t be coming back to this coffee stand & if you value your coffee palette, you...
Read moreOmg I have never written a bad review but i just can’t let this go. I am a manager of 3 local coffee stands and if my baristas acted this way to customers they would be written up or fired. I get being tired because I work 10 hour shifts, but to just be short and rude and no smile or asking about my day is just uncalled for. This is my 2nd time at a gourmet latte and I won’t be back. My mocha was supposed to have caramel and it tastes half sweet and watery. There was just no love put into this cup at all. The girl in the black jacket was especially rude when directing me with the hand held payment device. I was simply holding it to make sure my payment went through okay. She told me I would have to sign a receipt then passed me the card reader and as I was holding it watching my payment to go through she said “you have to sign a reset nothing on there” meaning the card reader and started reaching for it. I thought that was rude and not necessary. I do like to see my payment went through like most people. I am 43 and can understand instructions. A snappy response back isn’t helpful. Maybe a good nights rest and gratitude for being able to even have a job when so many don’t would help...
Read moreThe barista was extremely rude to us upon drive through. Did not catch her name unfortunately. She felt the need to educate us that cold brew cannot be served hot. We obviously know this. So I told her I understand that and the rest of the conversation was just an uncomfortable judgmental experience. Her facial expressions, everything. So she handed the drink back to my husband very aggressively, basically slamming it into his hand. She then served us a drink that wasn’t cold brew and I know this because the bottom liquid was warm upon drinking it. (Pretty certain she gave us espresso and water). It was all just so odd. I never go here because the line is always ridiculously long. But today I did and I won’t be going back. There are plenty of other coffee places to choose from nearby that I can recommend in which the wait is shorter and the...
