The guy that was working on August 12th(the day of this review) was apparently upset because we ordered 5 sandwiches through the app and I did not add the tip on the app. I like to tip in person once I have received my order. His exact words as I was putting my tip in the tip jar, were..”Big order but no tip huh?” I told him I don’t like to tip through the app, I prefer to tip in person! Normally I will tip very generously even though I know I don’t have to!! It’s not my fault he was the only person working, that’s how it has been every time I’ve walked into this store. There was an in person big order, THAT I WAITED FOR HIM TO COMPLETE mind you, before asking for my order, which was already done and sitting behind the counter, and he did not ask that person for a tip NOR DID THEY GIVE ONE! Our sandwiches were very poorly made, probably due to the fact that he thought he wasn’t getting a tip. If you don’t want to do the job you clearly signed up to do WITHOUT expecting someone to tip you then just don’t work in the industry. You work at a fast food chain, you get paid to make the food that is sold at that store. Needless to say, I won’t be giving this particular store my...
Read moreI’ve always been a fan of Subway but I don’t think I’m going to eat at this one anymore. I just moved to this neighborhood recently and have tried this location a few times, but service here can be absolutely horrendous. I was here last Wednesday and the guy working there couldn’t possibly have looked less interested in doing his job. No eye contact, unfriendly, didn’t put the sandwich in the bag when he rang me up, didn’t give me napkins, and when I asked him for my receipt, he ripped off the receipts stuck on top of it and then set it on the counter without looking at me. Not even a “have a nice day” or anything. They aren’t friendly in general here, but this time around was especially bad. This place needs to be improved a lot.
It’s also in an awkward location and has a very small parking lot. Pulling onto Holman out of it is a nightmare.
Also-over $4 extra for chips and a drink? Is that Subway in general now, or...
Read moreMy wife pre-ordered my sandwich, and when I opened it, I was absolutely floored by how pathetically it was thrown together. There was barely any lettuce, tomatoes, or olives—like the guy making it couldn't care less. It was as if he was rushing through it with zero effort or concern for even basic quality. So, I drive all the way back to get a replacement, and instead of owning up to it, the guy just gives me attitude. He has to call his boss, acting all annoyed that he might have to actually fix his disaster of a sandwich. When I asked for extra olives, he snapped, "six is the max." After making the trip back there, the last thing I need is some stingy nonsense over a few olives. Unbelievable.
Horrible customer...
