Avoid this shop if you buy big quantity. Yesterday I bought 2 dozens of oysters, a geoduck and 2 pounds of live shrimps. The lady there who was the owner brought out a new 5 lbs box and said that they were slightly larger size and bagged me 2 dozen of them. Since she was the owner, I trusted her to be honest. But when I got home, I found out that she only gave me 22 oysters not 24 so she shortened me 2 oysters. I immediately called her but apparently they never answer the phone. This reminds me last summer when I purchased 20 crabs, they threw in 2 smaller size crabs which were a few dollars cheaper than the ones I paid for. Too bad, there’s not that many live seafood stores in Seattle, otherwise I will definitely not ever shop there again. So if you ever buy anything there, make sure you have them count the items in front of you and also don’t let them sneakily switch to the cheaper ones into your bag when you’re...
Read moreDO NOT COME HERE. SCAM OF A SHOP. Went in this morning to get a king crab because I saw that their price is good. The crab was $22/lb and the owner picked one out that was 8.5lb. She said they just arrived yesterday and they're fresh. But when I got home and started cooking, there was so much water in the legs. I already knew it means the crab has been sitting in the water tank for a long time. When it's fully cooked, the meat is about half the size of the leg.
I called back to the shop and the owner continues to lie and said they got the crab fresh this morning and then literally hung up on me without giving me a chance to say anything. I dialed back and it wasn't even going through so I know she must've blocked my number. Shocked by the audacity of the owner and of course the place is cash only so there’s no other way to get a refund.
TLDR: SCAM OWNER....

Inside it’s not designed to be inviting to upper-middle-class white folks, either. (Eg some of the labels are only in Chinese and there’s no attempt to make things pretty.)
However while the selection is limited, they have very fresh seafood, most of it swimming, crawling or sitting in very well circulated tanks.
They have a great size range of live Atlantic lobster (some looked to be in the 3+ pound range the last time I was there) at the best non-commercial prices in Seattle.
The staff is attentive and efficient but not doting.
Lucky is now my go-to spot for the...
