Malak Ice Cream — Restaurant in Seattle

I had high expectations going into our visit to this ice cream shop. I walked in with my two young kids today and encountered a group of five men playing cards and one of them smoking an e-cigarette. Is that even allowed? Several of the ice cream flavors were down to the last patches of ice cream. The ice cream flavors we ordered (cookie and cream and birthday cake) we’re just OK. I expected better. I would love to continue to support a small business, but it will be hard to get me to come back here. I will say two women behind the counter...

YUM! What a gem of a location. From the street you might miss it zipping down 105th just after the greenwood intersection, but we actually got in and out easily for some dessert after dinner. Lots of great choices between lava cakes and ice cream. I'm excited to see they do bagel sandwiches and have some items I've never tried before. Can't wait to come back!

We enjoyed ice cream tonight and especially appreciated the toppings bar. Reasonably priced, great flavors from bubble gum to the classics. Mango guava...

We love this place!! Such good ice cream and the owners and staff are so sweet and welcoming! Definitely family friendly. It’s a favorite anytime but especially nice after a visit to Carkeek or Golden Gardens. If you aren’t in the mood for ice cream you can always snag a smoothie, shake, or baklava from the cafe...
