MOD Pizza — Restaurant in Seattle

I chose the mega thick crust but must have ended up with something different cause mine is as thin as 1/8 inch. My approach with reviews is to let the crew do how they do without correcting them. He spreads the sauce on leaving many very thin sauced areas (photo). As I add toppings there spread very unevenly (photo). The cheese has got many bare patches as well. If this is the Mega Thick crust I have a serious problem calling it that. The picture from the side shows how thin it is. Perhaps they mean it's just mega thick around the edge. That, however, isn't what I think it means. Domino's pan pizza is nearly a half inch thick in the pie area. So, I found the mega thick to be mega thin and was very disappointed with the uneven spreading of the toppings. Even spreading is simply pizza 101. I found this chain pizza place "MOD PIZZA" to be a pleasant place to eat. My husband and myself dinned at the the 2800 SW Barton Street, location. We went in just before the lunch rush on a Thur afternoon. We had a appointment in the area. It was our first time eating here. We ordered the mod size Donimic pizza, with a very nice mild white sauce, fresh basil leaves, asiago cheese, mild sausage, red onion, and sliced tomatoes. On a nice crispy thin crust. (kind of the way we like). It came under 5 to 6 minutes. They are cooked in a large/hot pizza oven. 🍕 It was just the right amount of food for my husband myself. I was pretty upset at Westwood Village location tonight. I ordered over an hour in advance. Showed up on time for my order. They were crazy busy. It was a Friday. I sat patiently with my 3 yr old. After 20 minutes I went up to the online order receipt area and did not see my name. I went to the place to order. He found my order, asked around and did not find it. I asked if they are going to make it as I have a antsy 3 yr old wanting the pizza I promised her. He made no effort to say they would expedite my order. Felt like I was going to back of the line. And thank you for not letting me keep my promise to my girl. Not going to lie. I voiced my opinion so all could hear. He said he has a lot going on and being pulled in different directions. Yep.
