Sadly, after coming here for years, I have to update my review. I recently had a terrible experience at Burger Boss. One that loses long time customers. I made an online order for burgers and milkshakes to share with my 5 year old after a great park session! I arrived at Burger Boss and, once the "estimated completion" time was up on the app, went up to collect my order.

I was first told, "We don't have an order for Jason." I showed them the confirmation and they went back to look again. Finally, they found an order receipt, asked me to confirm it was my order, which I did, and asked me to "give us 5 minutes." No problem!

2 mins later, they called me back up. "Someone already picked up your order." I was told.

That sucks! Still, here is my order confirmation, my online receipt and my ID to show you that I am actually me. $33 dollars even!

"Cancel the order." I was told. I can't! It's already through.

After a bit of back and forth, finally someone comes from the back. I don't know who this person was, he didn't introduce himself. He simply waved his hand at me in a "get lost" fashion and told me to "Call the company." What?? Again, I showed my receipt, ID, etc. Same response, "Call the company."

So, I did! I called multiple times. The first I was disconnected at best and hung up on at worst. The others, I have been told to call back later. I have emailed them through their website twice as well. No response.

Terrible experience. I have been going here for years. What the...

I order take out from Boss at least once a week. The food is always good and they have the best shakes around with probably 30 different flavors to choose from. I would normally give them 5 stars but my last order from them took 25 minutes longer than I was quoted and I had to ask multiple about my order without receiving much feedback as to what was going on. I think they might have thought it was an UberEATS order or something because it was relatively large and when I received it the bag had a seal on it saying tamper proof of something of the sort. That's what led me to believe they thought it was a Uber pickup. Also people who came up and ordered while I was waiting for my food (at least 3 different couples) received their food before me even though I had ordered online 20-30 minutes prior. It's only happened one time. I pointed out the difference between the time they said it would be ready and the time it was ready and they apologized and offered me something free so I grabbed a coke. I didn't throw a fit because I've worked in restaurants for over 20 years. I just wanted them to be aware of the time difference. Definitely a worthy place to...

Best burgers hands down. I moved to the area a few months ago and I just found this gem of a place that is only a few blocks away from my house. Their boss sauce is amazing. Almost reminds me of a fry sauce, but with some zest and a little bit of spice. Most of their hamburgers come with it (of course you can ask them to hold it if you're not into that) but I always get an extra cup of it to dip my burgers in. Their fries are great, again I dip those in boss sauce as well. Their onion rings are to die for. I got an Oreo milkshake and again, so much flavor. All of their food is made when you order it so it's always fresh. They have deep fried Oreos and also deep fried Mac and cheese bites. I have yet to try either one of them, but I definitely will and have a good feeling I will not be disappointed. I have been going a few times I week now since I found this spot and not once have I gotten food that I did not like or that was not fresh. They also have punch cards so after ten visits you get a discount on your food. I believe it's $5 off your next visit. Oh and the topper, did I mention that they are also very inexpensive! My to go to...

I was looking for a place to get burgers and I needed to do it as a drive-in or a drive-through so this place came up when I was searching. The number of reviews and the average star rating as well as the photos from the outside make me think that this would be a good place to try out and I was correct. The food was delicious. The boss sauce reminds me of In-N-Out in the flavor, I would totally come back here. We had a good sample of the burgers we had the dub and the cowboy burger and we also got the five piece corndogs the five piece mac & cheese bites and a small order of fries and a large shake to split all of this was more than enough for two peopleand we were both very full and very satisfied. It was nice because there are these little kiosks where you can just enter your order and then you just wait for your food to come out so super chill if you’re not if you’re trying to avoid human interaction.

Arrived at around 145pm on a Sunday afternoon and there was no line and one other person waiting for their food. Masks are required in the area close to the ordering/pickup counter. I ordered the Dub-C and a small Nutella Shake. The food was ready quick and it was delicious! A lot of burger joints have their own house sauce they put on the burgers and most of the time it’s nothing remarkable, but I loved the Boss Sauce! It had a distinct kick to it that actually had me craving more when I finished my burger. They have a punch card as well - 10 punches for a $5 reward. I also appreciated that they had a little container to dispose of order slips and straw wrappers at the pickup window.

The best thing about Burger Boss is that their prices are so much more reasonable than other places in Seattle. They have a solid selection of options without going too broad. The service is always pretty quick. There's almost always a crowd, at all times of day. That's a sign of strong business with repeat customers. The burgers, ice cream, and shakes are excellent. I wish the fries were fresh cut instead of frozen. That would push them over the top! I've enjoyed watching this business grow in my neighborhood for the past 10 years. I'm happy they made it! They often come up with new shakes and put them.on the sign board. The rose shake drew me in this time!
