Caution Ladies!!! Regarding Toenail Fungus Risks.
I have a deep admiration for the staff at this salon, particularly Cindy, who is exceptionally skilled. My repeated visits were primarily due to her talent. However, I have concerns about the owner's Tina lack of hygiene standards. During my last visit, I observed owner Tina performing a pedicure on a gentleman who had noticeable toenail fungus. Disturbingly, she used some of the same tools that had previously been used on me.
This raises concerns about the possibility of subsequent clients being exposed to the same unsterilized tools. I attempted to inquire with an employee about the cleaning procedures for these tools, but due to language barriers, she did not fully understand my questions. Consequently, I called Tina directly to express my concerns about preventing fungal infections for future clients. Regrettably, she laughed and appeared not to grasp the seriousness of the situation. When I asked her if she spoke English, she assured me she would apply medication to the gentleman, but my concern was for the next client in line.
I genuinely wanted to warn the next woman waiting, as I feared she would be subjected to the same tools used on the gentleman with the fungal infection. Unfortunately, I lacked the courage to speak up, hoping for a more serious response from Tina, but she dismissed my concerns with laughter, despite my belief that she understood me.
Ladies, please exercise caution. While I appreciate the expertise of the staff at this salon, I wholeheartedly recommend seeking services elsewhere, such as at NK Nails, where they have a robust system for cleaning and sanitizing their tools. Your health and safety should...
Read moreI have consistently gotten my nails done with dip for about 4 years now, and this is one of the best mani / pedi's, I've gotten in the last 2 to 3 years. It was also the most reasonably priced. They don't have as many options for colors in dip as other salons, but the quality of work was by far superior. Everything was smooth and consistent with no ridges or bumps in any of my nails. The best part is that I got the service done on July 4th, and I only now need to get them redone, a full 22 days later, due to grow out, they still don't look bad. For their prices, they include a complete manicure with massage and moisturizing hand treatments, as well as cuticle maintenance. Most other fancier salons don't include any of that when you get dip, you have to pay extra, which I've always thought was a ripoff. For what I pay around $130 for at other salons, and don't even get the manicure part, just a dip change and pedi, such as NK Nails close by or Polished in downtown Seattle, I was only charged $90 here with full manicure. I love that they can do the mani and pedi at the same time. It is a huge time saver. Yes, the salon is not as fancy as some other ones, but the service for dip was far superior and I plan to make this...
Read moreI waited a week and hesitated to leave this review but I’m tired of getting sub par manicures at salons. I came in last Tuesday for a gel manicure and deluxe pedicure. We were moving across the country and I had been looking forward to this for weeks.
One pet peeve here and similar salons is that they always do hands and feet at the same time. It’s stressful and never relaxing. You constantly have to move hands and feet where they want them since it’s both at once. Pedicures never have adequate time to dry this way either.
The whole thing felt rushed and my gel manicure looked like it had over a week of grow out when I photographed it on Saturday, less than 4 full days later.
My pedicure wasn’t dry enough (they don’t use pedicure dryers) and got messed up before I even made it home.
The gel colors here are in white bottles and unorganized, so it takes forever to find what you want. You have to open each bottle.
They’re very nice but I’m tired of spending $100 for rushed and stressful experiences. I would love a refund for this mani/pedi. Unfortunately there’s no way to contact them except...
