This is the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. Do not be deceived by the esthetic. Ignore the gas station - unless you need a restroom.
I eat a ton of Mexican food... look at my profile ... this place is special. Order everything.
The Mulitas were my favorite. They're just on the edge of spicy, packed with meat, and accompanied by cheese and guacamole. It's a sort of quesadilla meats torta. While not the prettiest thing to eat, I'd happily have one daily. 2 will fill you up all day.
I also really enjoyed the tacos. When you see them, they seem tiny ... but I have to say, I was never left hungry. The Taco Platter is more than filling and fairly priced.
When a 5-year-old finishes a taco truck burrito, you know you're in the right spot.
This is well prepared, beautifully seasoned passion driven food. It is clear from the food that they serve, that they love what they do and want...
Read moreIn the five years since I moved from Los Angeles to Seattle I’ve never found a spot for Mexican food/ street tacos that came close to as delicious, authentic and close to home as Taquitos Feliz. The meat (we had asada and adobada) was high quality and very flavorful on its own, but with the salsa was next level. I had a chile relleno that was incredible. Delicious and the texture was excellent. The beans! Beans are almost always “ok” at best but these tasted almost as good as my mom. The chips are freshly made and you can tell. The horchata was delicious, not overly sweet but full of flavor. On top of all of that, the service was excellent. The cashier was incredibly friendly and gave us great suggestions. The service was fast and efficient. This place is absolutely worth the trip to...
Read moreYum! I'm on a quest to try every taco truck in the greater Seattle area. This was my first and a great one! I had the tacos de cabeza (cheek meat) and they were perfect! Meat was soft and almost but not quite melt in your mouth. Slightly spicy, but nothing a wimp couldn't handle. When I opened the cover, there was an unexpected smokiness that made me salivate.
It's next to a gas station, nothing fancy, but plenty of customers on a weekday at noon. Lots of working men and a few moms and kids going to Lincoln Park. Took about 7-10 minutes to get my food after ordering. It was piping hot and obviously fresh. Feels safe and friendly.
Jarritos soda was $3.50 and they do charge 10 cents for a bag fee, so let them know if you...
