I ordered a cake by phone on 4/22/2025 for my son’s birthday, a fresh fruit cake. This has always been a tradition in our family and we have been ordering cakes for special occasions from Tony’s for years and they have always been of great quality in the past. This time, however, it was not good, the frosting seemed to taste off, it didn’t taste fresh and seemed old. Even the cake had an odd greenish color and was not of the same quality that we came to love from Tony’s cake. Even our guest, who was interested in finding a new cake spot for her own family, tried the cake and spit it out after a couple of bites and threw it in the garbage. I was very embarrassed as I had told her just how much I loved eating these cakes and always recommended this place to her in the past. I did not know the cake that I had purchased that day would have been of such low quality, if I had known, I would have never have recommended Tony’s to her.

This completely ruined my son’s birthday. When I came to pick up the 8-inch cake on 4/23/2025 at 5:45pm, I had to pay $50 cash (due to the card surcharge). I kept the receipt and later the next day came in and told the worker what had happened and if I could get a refund and they refused to refund the full amount. Saying that “we make a lot of cakes everyday and there should not be any issues about the cake so I can only give you $20.” I brought them back the whole entire cake with just 2 small slices cut off with the receipt to show them what it looked like and they still didn’t want to refund me. I couldn’t believe they would not refund the full amount nor apologize and replace the cake, so I felt so bad I just left the cake...

I tried Tony’s Bakery and Deli for the first time today, I was on my lunch break and it was close by. I grabbed almost $70 worth of the premade food in the plastic containers that were set out on the table and was excited to have some for lunch and share some for later. I got home and opened one of the containers of food and there were tons of ants crawling from inside the container and from inside the food. I automatically threw the whole thing in the kitchen sink and turned on the hot water hoping they would just go down the drain. I called the deli and spoke with the lady that sold them to me and she said she couldn’t speak English but understood me enough to tell me that maybe I went to a different deli and not her deli. Then she told me to come back to her deli, like I would ever step foot in that place ever again. Unsanitary and not ok. She must’ve had other complaints before about the same thing because she didn’t sound surprise or was even a little apologetic. Needless to say, I threw out all the food. Eat there at...

Always spot on with their foods, whether it's sandwiches, cakes or their deli/catering selections (fish sauce chicken wings are the best in the city! ). The young teen girl who answers the fone could use some lessons in basic fone etiquette esp when dealing with customers, but the folks there overall are super friendly and delightful! Just the teen girl who answers the fone. I mean don't answer the fone with just a "hello" and go silent, then act as if u don't want to even be working/talking while taking an order, only to end the call without even saying "thank you" or "bye" and just hanging up. Definitely won't be making employee of the month with her poor attitude on the fone (and sometimes in person which is why I try to avoid her). I still go back bc the food and service (again, except for that young girl)...

Call me biased because I love pandan and I love durian but this place makes one of the best cakes I’ve ever eaten. The sponge itself is flavorful, not too sweet, very moist and has an amazing flavor. The durian layer is just pure durian. This takes the cake to the next level. It’s so fragrant and sweet but not too sweet. The okay-ish part is the cream. It’s just whipped cream and imo it’s nothing special Overall the cake is amazing. I just get it to eat. No special occasions. The absolutely went overboard with the design and I love it. There’s so much thought put in. The price is solid. Worth every penny for me. My cake was 8 inches for $50 Shout out to their banh mi. Very affordable and very good

I love Tony’s! They have awesome Vietnamese food and a great deli. Their fish sauce wings are divine - the flavor is good and the breading has an incredible crunch. Half pound is about $6-8. Also their grilled pork banh mi is perfect to take on the go! The French bread is soft which honestly I don’t prefer but it’s literally perfect for taking home then you can throw in the toaster oven so you can perfectly toast it yourself. Everytime I come here I end up leaving with a delicious meal! This time was 1/2 lb fish sauce wings, 2 grilled pork banh mi and summer rolls - cost me $30. Flan is $4, 2pc French bread $2. I love Tony’s!!! & you should too!

With the busy life of Seattle, we've found Tony's Bakery to be a very very pleasant place to purchase our items. It was my wife and twins birthday and Mr. Truong spend at least an hour with us. He suggested items for the party and so helpful on many other things. His friendliness and the workers there makes us feel very welcome and of course, the foods were fantastic. The people there were so professional and always assist with a smile. We love this place and can't wait to go there again. Come and check them out for yourself. You won't be disappointed. See some pictures below. (The big cake was cut before I took this picture. :))
