I come to Sebastian for vacation and was thrilled to find this place. The interior was very nice to me. I have a hard time putting my finger on what specifically makes me feel this way, but I like it. It was also very clean, so I'm sure that had something to do with the positive impression.
The food was great. First time I went, I got the Japanese curry lunch special. I've made Japanese curry multiple times, so I had a general idea of the flavors (including that Japanese curry tends to be sweeter than a lot of other curries). The flavor was excellent with a nice, mild level of spice. Although the potatoes were a slight bit firm to me, I loved it anyway. 9/10 would get again.
With the curry lunch special came Japanese donuts and a dipping icing. It was my first time having these, so I have no point of comparison, but I thought they tasted pretty good.
There was also a choice of 2 takoyaki and something else (that I forgot because I didn't choose that option). I have never had takoyaki and ended up trying those. Super tasty and not at all fishy like I feared it might be! Was pleasantly surprised and will absolutely get again.
Second time, I got crispy chicken ramen take out. The chicken was not crispy by the time I got to it, but that's expected since it's nice and hot and in a container where it steamed itself soft. Tasted amazing anyway. Very tender and flavorful.
The mushroom slices in this soup were also stellar. They had this mild flavor that was a little smokey to me and now I must go find and purchase these mushrooms to cook with at home.
The egg was still creamy despite the extra steaming it got on the drive. The broth was perfection, or darn near close!
Wasn't a fan of the bean sprouts and bok choy that tasted a bit dull compared to everything else. The presentation was nice despite being a takeout. Shows effort :) Overall, probably the best out of the four ramens I've tried to date. I'd give it a solid 8/10.
The service was great and the waitress I had helped me both times. The first time it was a spot on recommendation and the second, helping accommodate my take out. (Got sick and I didn't want to go inside, even with a mask on)
As far as cost goes, I think they are competitive and falling around the average range.
I hope they are here next year so I can try some...

I recently had the pleasure of trying a bowl of Ramen Chicken Soup that boasted a spicy flavor, and I must say, it was a culinary revelation. The soup strikes a perfect balance between the comforting, familiar taste of chicken broth and an invigorating kick of spice that awakens the senses.
The noodles were perfectly cooked - not too soft and not too firm - providing a satisfying chewiness that is the hallmark of any great ramen. The chicken pieces were tender and flavorful, soaking up the rich, spicy broth in a way that made every bite a delightful experience.
What sets this ramen apart is its spice level. It's not just heat for the sake of heat; there's a complexity to it. The spices blend harmoniously, offering layers of flavor that unfold with each spoonful. It's a warm, inviting kind of spice that beckons you to keep eating, even as your brow begins to perspire.
The broth itself deserves special mention. It's rich and aromatic, with a depth of flavor that suggests a slow, careful simmering process. The spicy notes are well-integrated, never overshadowing the chicken's natural flavors but rather enhancing them. This soup manages to be both hearty and refreshing, making it a perfect choice for any season.
In terms of presentation, the soup was a feast for the eyes, garnished with vibrant green onions and a soft-boiled egg that added both a pop of color and a creamy texture to the dish. It's clear that attention to detail is a priority, and it pays off in the visual appeal and taste of the soup.
Overall, this Ramen Chicken Soup with its spicy flavor is an outstanding dish that offers a memorable dining experience. It's a must-try for anyone who appreciates the art of ramen-making and enjoys a bit of heat in their food. Whether you're a seasoned spice enthusiast or someone looking to venture into spicier territory, this soup will...
Read moreI usually come here because the food is really good. This time I tried to order something different. I got the Japanese curry because my friend told me Japanese curry is really good so I ordered that. When I tried it it wasn’t really good at all. The curry was like really sweet instead of savory so I didn’t really finished the food. The server also said something that was really uncalled for. She was complementing my friend saying how beautiful she is which is very true. She looked at me and asked if we were related I told her no we were friends. The server said oh ur beautiful but ur friend is more beautiful than u. I was really caught off guard because I used to work in the food industry and I would never say anything like that to someone. That was really rude and I just wanted to leave right when she said that to me. The place is usually great when I come in but this time I didn’t want to...
