I am shocked by the dishonesty at this store. Today, 8/18/2025, right after opening, I noticed multiple employees walking around with shopping carts, removing all the yellow-tagged items, which indicate the color of the week. I approached one lady and asked her why she was removing the shirts with yellow tags. She replied, "Oh, well, you can go through the cart and take what you want."

Ten minutes later, I saw her in the home goods section, doing the same thing. When I asked her what she was doing with the items, she explained that she sends them to another store because the items aren't selling. I told her that I was there to buy the yellow tag items, but they were taking everything away.

Later on, I noticed two corporate employees whom I approached and advised them of what was going on. The woman who was taking the items down happened to walk near us while we were talking. The two corporate women advised her that she could only remove the "dead color" items, which I assume are from the previous color of the week. I mentioned to them that it was very dishonest of the employees to do this. The employee assured me that she would put back the items she had removed.

I’m glad I saw the corporate employees when I did, as I hope they can prevent this from happening again. If you see someone doing this in front of you, speak up! It's important that we voice our concerns.

I do like this store and its selection, but I am very saddened by this behavior. Please keep in mind that you never see the color of the week because everything is taken out, from lamps to children's clothes—everything.

UPDATE: 8/25* I went back on Monday morning when they changed the color of the week. This week is BLUE. However, there were NO BLUE TAGS on any home good items and barely anywhere in the store. It looks like they read my review and started taking the tag of the week items out before shoppers arrived, which is better than doing it right in our faces. Still...

No discounts other than the color of the week which is almost non existent. No military discount and no senior citizen discount like other Goodwill stores. Why is this store so different??? I was informed it’s because new head of this region “changed” everything and took those things away. So disappointing. I purchased a used foot bath. It was taped when I purchased it, I’m sure by Goodwill. I was saddened when I got home and was ready to use that it was caked with dirt and filth so… cant open tape or they are instructed to not sell you the item. They don’t inspect to make sure you are not getting a box of rocks taped up then when you realize you bought something totally useless you cannot return or exchange for something else. Also purchased a vcr rewinder and when I got home it didn’t work. Buyer beware. I’ll be going back to the Viera location under different management. Bad move on part of the new people in charge. Rip off the senior citizens who go there for good deals but don’t know any better. Shame on you!!! I wish I had taken a pic of the footbath. It’s so disgusting i took it right outside to the trash!!! Also found a very nice shirt for my husband. Someone put a yellow tag on it but no price tag. I was told that they could not sell it to me or price it, that it would go in the back and come out another day. So stupid. I’d give it a ZERO if I could! WILL NEVER BE BACK NOR VISIT ANOTHER GOODWILL!!!!! I cant believe there are people and workers like this in the world today or at any place even a Goodwill! RUDEST BULLIES IVE EVER SEEN at this location off us1 in Sebastian FL!!!! I went in for the first time today 7/29/24 at 2:15pm a woman worker dark brown hair with glasses came up screaming to another customer who was a mom with 3 children AND DEMANDED she leave the store at once with her misbehaving kids. She went on to shame and bully this mother saying she always disciplined her kids and this mom needed to do so! BUT didnt care she needs to leave at once that they are disturbing her customers! The worker went on to say to this mom this cant happen (meaning her one child out of the 3 who was a toddler going through a meltdown-they weren’t even running around) SO instead of trying to help the mom she tried to disrespect, embarrass and shame her in front of everyone in the store!!! Thank goodness for a very kind young woman who came to her defense. The worker backed away BUT all her other worker cronies sneared, glanced dirty looks at this mom!!!
