I never leave a bad review but with the experience I had with Goodwill recently I'm going to break the rule. For years I've shopped at Goodwill because I loved them. But recently they dropped all their customers loyalty programs and raised their prices out rageously. Well I really liked how convenient the store was so I continued to shop there. On a regular basis I would spend a $100 almost weekly until a few weeks ago. They close at 8pm. I had worked in Stuart this particular day and wanted to run in on my way home to see if they had a small dresser for a room I was remodeling. It was 7:25pm, as I walked in I was greeted at the door by Erin one their regular employees with her arms crossed. I smiled and said hello!! She replied back with a snarl you always do this ! I said what she said come in last minute. I replied Not Me !! I never come in this late. You have the wrong one!! I started to leave a review the next day and my phone died as I was about to post.So I was going to let it go as I thought she might been having a bad day. But then I was told by another reliable source she was at the front door doing the same thing the next night to customers except she took this woman's cart and swung it around back toward the cart line as she pulled it to go shopping. I'm will no longer support a store who employees workers that are abusive to their customers. I think Goodwill should offer customer service training to Erin before she's allowed to be around customers. Keep Erin in the back room working with the inventory till she knows how to treat customers who are willing to spend their hard earned money at...
Read moreI used to like this shopping center, except it's almost always too hot. HORRIBLE, HOT TAR, so DEADLY to our planet, was put on top of the ALREADY HIDEOUS ASPHALT! THIS CAUSES SUFFERING, by humans and our environment! What a CRUEL, INSANE thing to do! The PAIN of walking across it! What about mobility impaired folks?! I wish the people who DID THAT would have to STAY ON that tar, until...they suffer! To the uncaring losers who did that to us, there are alternatives! Or were! It's too late now; the plaza is ruined. One summer afternoon, I parked by a tree at the north end, then walked UNDER THE COVER (shaded walkway), to get to Goodwill, as there wasn't any shady parking, closer. I felt sick from the BRUTAL HEAT that rose up from that tar! And, that was BEFORE this new tar was put on the parking areas! (I was trying to be polite/not take up one of the very few shady spots, by the other businesses, but, I...
Read moreA number of stores and restaurants are here, with Aunt Louise's Italian restaurant a favorite among the locals. The only big draw is Publix and is a nice store, with only one minor problem. One of the workers at the deli that works with the subs is very rude, but the rest are a delight. Good subs and a nice hot food area. The fried chicken is some of the best as well as the rotisserie chicken. The wing box both regular and spicy if purchased fresh is really good but check the time made as some stores won't make fresh until the old sells. Some will if you ask, even if the window chicken is fresh. The sub shop Jersey Mike's, is privately owned and while a little expensive, the subs and salads are some of the best in the county....
