First visit here on a Thursday at 1pm. Great that the place was crowded, but they might consider having a host rather than counter service to manage seating. We were a group of 3 so needed a 4 person table, most of which were occupied by couples. People like space, but the restaurant has limited dining capacity to begin with, so they should be more focused on maximizing potential. If you like beer, they have a few good options. It would be great to see them add wine or hard cider to the selection for those not interested in beer. Non-alcoholic beverages are also fairly limited.
Service was slow. It was a lunch rush and they are a small operation, but the wait for food was over 20 minutes. When the food arrived, it was just okay. We ordered the dirty fries with no peperoncinis, but they weren't held. We also ordered a burger with no tomatoes and no pickles..... it came with only pickles. The issue may be that the person at the counter uses a POS system for sales, but then seems to write orders or modifications on a ticket to pass to the cook? Something is getting lost in the process it seems. Overall, I'd probably given them another chance because they're new, but I wasn't impressed. The $80 price tag for COUNTER SERVICE didn't help. At that price point, they should...
Read moreWhile the food is good, I wouldnt say it's anything special. I do realize it's a sandwich and burger place, but for the prices they are charging, I was expecting a bit better. we had two sandwiches, a salad, 2 non-alcoholic beers, and an ice tea and it was 118.00. The real problem comes in the wait time. 40 minutes from the time we sat down. I could see the "line" where they were preparing food. I watched one gal spend 15 minutes filling an aioli bottle. Then she proceeded to make one sandwich at a time on some small panini press. Our salad sat on the counter for at least 15 minutes. The cook was doing dishes or rattling around in the back in between making burgers. Needless to say, they need to figure out how to expedite food a bit quicker. When our food did come, I was a bit disappointed. The sandwich was good but a bit dry. The french fries were over cooked and not many. They were just thrown on the flat tray with the sandwich. I could tell they have been refried. I guess I was a bit disappointed for the whole experience. The best part of our time there was the young man at the register with the two tones mustache. He was pleasant, helpful and I would tell he was really trying. He knew we were waiting too long and kept...
Read moreMy new favorite gem in town! Absolutely delicious veggie burger and friendly customer service. You can really taste the quality and freshness, which makes the price worth it. The menu is more meat focused but they do have Impossible plant based burger pattys for any burger. We tried the special which had onion rings, barbecue sauce and cheese (typically comes with bacon too but we omitted) on a perfectly squishy sesame seed bun, noticeably fresh. Fries were great, perfectly salted.
They have a lot of seating, the place overall is really clean and super cute. I love that they have bar seating too, so you can see your burger being made in action! The owners are a local couple who have been working in the industry for years, you can really feel the intentionality behind what they’re doing here that comes from their experience. We’ll...
