Florence Avenue Art Community — Attraction in Sebastopol

These are junk art sculptures created by local artist Patrick Amiot and painted by his wife Brigitte. Other sculptures can be seen in Sebastopol and around Sonoma county. He does a great job repurposing objects discarded by others. This is just a unique experience. You walk along two blocks to see one artist's work in most of the front yards of the homes on the street. They are sculptures of a sort- whimsical figures welded up and made from metal found objects and cleverly painted- hubcaps, tin can lids, car parts and much more. It's low key fun.
