Good day Sunshine Cafe. Has transcended my expectation for breakfast. Woke up feeling the rumbly in my tumbly like one of those hungers that come at you without warning and are fierce to attack. Quick to action I looked up Breakfast places in Sebastopol, and like a beacon of light the Sunshine Cafe illuminated my decision to quickly start my order. As I browsed their plethora of amazing dishes I could swear I could hear Gene Wilder singing Pure imagination while scrolling through their many culinary creations. Our minds were made on the Sebastopol sandwich on croissant with a side of shredded hash browns. When I set eyes on the meal presented, I couldn't help but smile from ear to ear. A modern day masterpiece I say. renaissance painters would probably line up to get a glimpse of the radiance to use it as a muse for an award winning still life. I digress, the sandwich felt like two slices of buttery cloud pastries filled with deliciousness, roasted tender turkey, applewood smoked bacon cooked to perfection, smooth hearty portions of avacado, and the rest of the accoutrements to complete this mind blowing experience. I can not wait to try another of their...

Three stars for fast, friendly service and a decent cafe menu. There is really nothing outstanding or mind blowing at this little main street café, but as I said are friendly and the food comes fast.

As I was enjoying my lunch in this tiny little open air café, looking out on Main Street a number of locals came in and sat down. It was clear they were locals as they recognized each other, greeted each other and also we’re acquainted with the people who worked at the café..

That specific trait is what led me to add my third star. I have to be honest.

The food is good, but not spectacular. It is what I expected for a nice little hometown style café. The cole slaw was basic and lacked a little seasoning and the club sandwich was good but not great. Seemed a little small as well. Garlic fries were...

So quick! And delicious, plus a great value. We came here for breakfast. I was really surprised about how big the menu was. They have Mexican/inspired breakfast items, Egg Benedict’s, omelette’s, fancy pancakes and French toast, amount other items. Everything everyone ordered, was delicious. I saw on the special board that they had a Montecristo sandwich, and Chilliquiles. None of us tried the specials, but they looked great. We got our breakfast within 3 to 5 minutes of us ordering, and everything was really good. It is your diner style establishment. But, it look like they served mimosa‘s, and beer, as well. The coffee was great! We will be returning. They serve breakfast lunch and dinner. Burgers, loaded fries, sandwiches, ribs, fish and chips. We definitely...

We thought it was on the ok side. Not a lot of flavor but then again there was so much to choose from so maybe we just chose the wrong things. We went at dinner time and there was no one in the place. It seems more of a breakfast place and maybe I will give it another try for some French toast or something like that. I had the buffalo chicken wrap which consisted of mainly lettuce and I didn't taste any buffalo sauce and the chicken was chopped so small.

Came here for breakfast while house-sitting with my boyfriend. He got huevos rancheros and I got the divorced chicken fried steak Benedict, which was chicken fried steak on a biscuit with 1 half of it smothered with gravy and the other half with hollandaise sauce. Portions were pretty big and definitely delicious. The hash browns were massive and well cooked. Can’t wait to come back
