7/14 - dinner with the gang! So much fun. I had the Shrimp Guadalajara, really good and a nice portion. I broke from my traditional drinks and had a "Maria Maria" it was nice. My friend had a Dragon fruit margarita - looked good! May have to try that next...
6/7 - Shrimp Serrano - very good, love the peppers and mushrooms.
5/27 - Salmon Veracruz - wow! Really nice dish and piece of fish. I will get this again.
5/5/25 Cinco! It was the busiest I've ever seen this place, lol. But the service, food and speed of service was still great! I had the shrimp fajitas - really good but I'm not a fan of the tails still on the shrimp when served for this type of dish.
9/4 back for dinner. We sat outside in the screen room, so nice. I had the Chicken San Antonio, it was good.
5/26 i had the ceviche, different than normal ceviche but it's really good, more salad like, love the avocado, plenty of shrimp and fish in there.
5/22 tamales 4/21 back for shrimp arceo - it was good!
2/21 back at the bar for dinner. I tried the chicken Arizona and it was marvelous! Definitely recommend. Also i got to try the chicken soup, now normally i would not order this at a Mexican restaurant, i will say I was completely surprised and amazed how good it was! So good, i took it home!
2/16 dinner @ the bar. I tried the Shrimp Enchiladas at the recommended of the bartender, it was another really great dish! This place is amazing, the Chefs really care about the art of food. So consistently good over the last 15+ years I've been eating here. Service is always good.
2/10 @ the bar for dinner. I tried the Shrimp Salsa Verde and it was really good! Along with 2:1 Margaritas and the best chips & salsa, it was a great night.
2/7/24 @ the bar. Late snack and 2:1 marg! I got the chicken quesadilla. Now i was so hungry that i forgot to take the photo before eating... But I'll say, they were very good & i would get them again. A perfect amount for something to eat late night and with drinks.
10/25 back at the bar for a late dinner -great food again. Nice to see Turn 2 beer available here.

Read moreI rarely write reviews, but this place was so fantastic I'd feel guilty if I didn't give credit where it is due. I came here on a Thursday afternoon with my parents around 4 PM—so we beat a bit of the crowd by having an earlier dinner. As you approach the establishment, you begin to realize the careful attention given to decorations and ornamentations to really immerse patrons in a Mexican setting. If you're not impressed yet, you will be when you enter the restaurant. A good comparison would honestly be Mexico at Epcot.
Additionally, the service was phenomenal—starting with the hostess, to the busboy, and our waiter. As soon as we were seated we had chips and salsa served at our table. While our section of the restaurant was not fully packed, there were still plenty of people at the restaurant. It also seemed like there was a fundraiser out in the patio by the bar. My point is that this restaurant provided amazing service, likely because they have good systems and processes in place to ensure hospitable service. It is clear that the owners/managers have a careful attention to detail top-down that permeates through every facet of the experience they provide. The food was phenomenal too with generous portions. Also, as self-proclaimed frozen margarita connoisseur, theirs were an out-of-body experience. Our table shared frozen guava, peach, strawberry, and mango margaritas. You cannot go wrong by choosing either one of those flavors.
At one point during my meal, I started looking around to see if they sold merch so I could give them more of my money. If you've made it this far, you might have started to wonder if I'm a paid shill. But I promise that isn't the case. I'm currently eating my leftovers in a hotel, disgruntled at the fact I leave tomorrow, unable to...
Read moreMy family and I arrived for dinner. We were seated right away, which was a huge positive considering it was Cinco De Mayo. My family is pretty indecisive so it takes us some time to figure out what we want whenever we go somewhere new. That wasn't an issue here, and that's not a good thing.
After about ten minutes, everyone knew what they wanted, and our server had not even come over. Fine, it's pretty busy. So we waited.
After thirty minutes, our server still had not come, and people were leaving, and those tables were not being filled, so they were not as busy as when we arrived. We looked around, and observed that the establishment was WELL staffed. My wife, who was a server, argued that one could say they might be over-staffed, and yet we never met our server.
People around us were getting drinks and food served to them, and orders taken, and yet still, we never met our server.
After forty minutes of waiting, with no contact at all from any employees other than the two brief interactions where someone flew by to drop chips and salsa at our table, we left the establishment.
I can't rate the food, because we never got any. I can't really rate the service, because we were never served. I won't rate the atmosphere because it's irrelevant to this review.
Had I stayed and ate there, I was seriously considering NOT tipping the server anything, but that's not a good thing to do, so I opted to leave instead.
I may return in the future, and if I did, I would update this review to reflect my second dining experience there, but right now that doesn't seem very likely, which is really disappointing, because their menu sounded really good, and the smells of everyone else's food was...
