I'm a DOOR DASH driver, and I went to pick up an order today, July 17, 2025, at approximately 3:50 p.m. at this store. They were still preparing the order, so when they went to give me the order, a brunette woman, who was the only woman working at the time, placed three milkshakes on the counter and told me to show her my phone and confirm that I had received the order. However, three packages were missing and were on a shelf on the other side. I told her she needed to show me the packages so she could check the receipt and if the merchandise was correct with what I had on my phone. She told me that I had to first CONFIRM using the red button on my phone. I repeated to her that this was a mistake because I had to check the order first because I didn't know if everything was correct. This woman capriciously told me she wasn't going to do it and removed the three milkshakes and told me she wasn't going to show me the order. First of all, this is disrespectful, unethical, and unprofessional on the part of this employee, who seems to be unaware of the rules. I can't confirm receipt of something if it's not in front of me, and if I don't check the merchandise or food I'm going to pick up to take to a customer. I have almost 4,000 DOOR DASH deliveries, and I've never seen anything like this. I think this woman is racist or upset about something because this procedure is incorrect. The rules that DOOR DASH establishes for receiving merchandise or food in a store are that I have to check the receipt and check what's in the packages, according to what's in the order on my phone. Then I have to confirm it afterward, because otherwise, I can't continue moving forward with the delivery because the app doesn't work. This store employee seems to be out of line; she doesn't know what the procedures are, and therefore store employees should be careful with these procedures. It's disrespectful to me. person, or any other Dasher, that these people interfere in matters that do not concern them. Employees fulfill their role within the Store and should not have to demand that a Dasher show them the order confirmation without having thoroughly reviewed and checked everything in the packages before delivering them to the customer. This is a responsibility and we could incur a breach of contract. This person is employed; they do not know how to do their job. They seem unprofessional, or I get the impression they are racist, and that is why they acted this way. I've never experienced anything like this in a store, where an employee demands that I confirm the order without showing me which food packages. The employees who work in these businesses should know their duties and how to serve us, because we are also customers, and the customer is right when we are doing our job to bring the food to another customer who is waiting for it. For me, the attitude of this employee was extremely unpleasant, especially because it lacks any professionalism or respect for the procedures that the partners have, both them and us, in our work. I consider this woman to also be rude and disrespectful, due to the way she treated me, abruptly removing the food from the counter and telling me that she wasn't going to show me anything until I confirmed the order. It's truly crazy, because anyone with half a brain knows that I'm not going to receive something or confirm something that I haven't seen, and I have it right in...
Read moreThis place has awesome burgers. My husband and I always get bacon cheeseburgers and a small fries. A small fries here is bigger than a large fries at McDonald's, so we share one. They have regular and Cajun. I've had them both, and they are both quite delicious. The Cajun fries were just a tiny tad too spicy for me to just maw them down indiscriminately, which I rather sadistically enjoyed. Some of them were a bit squishy, but that can be cured by 3 minutes under the broiler. The regular fries come out just right, but the McD's fry will forever take the cake for me. The BURGERS THOUGH? NOMNOMNOM NOMNOM...NOM. Oh, and so my compliment holds the weight it's earned, I should mention that I dislike hamburger meat,... immensely. However, that bacon cheeseburger?... THAT'S the ticket! Also, this store is incredibly compliant with social distancing, to the extent that one is ONLY permitted inside to grab their order and go. The few who lingered shortly, (and I mean SHORTLY) for that purpose were offered seating that was limited and at least 10 feet from other available seats (maybe 4 total, but I believe only 3-all others were sectioned off with signs and closed). Those of us who chose to stand simply stood 10 feet apart. This was only my 2nd visit here. This time, I learned that you can request peanuts, which I did just for curiosities sake, and was handed 2 brown paper bags filled generously with roasted shelled peanuts. Downsides- you have to request napkins and condiments, including ketchup, mustard, and I believe jalapenos..but don't take that last one to the bank because I'm not certain. But to not get NAPKINS, or STRAWS, unless you specifically request them? The very first time I bite into a delicious foil wrapped burger, and drip anything on my clothing only to discover a napkinless bag would be the LAST time I ate at that establishment. Overall? I'll be back for my pig...
Read moreWe were apparently order 1 for the day when we came in, despite being in the afternoon and the place was empty to after we got there. You'd expect the best they had to offer at that point. The burger patties were both lacking in flavor and yet still extremely greasy, the cheese was cold enough that it didn't even slightly melt even through finishing the burgers, and the fries were brown and tasted burnt, we ate a handful before tossing the lot.
Some of the laziest quality and most expensive fast food I've had, not at all the quality five guys used to be known for. I could have bought 5 burgers from McD's for that price and would have enjoyed them more. There's good reason why they haven't won any awards in Florida since before 2010. We both agreed we're never coming back to this one. I have no idea where the other reviewers were but nothing of their experience matches what...
