I'm a firm believer in second chances. I originally came to this location roughly about the time they opened their new location at the mall (maybe over a year ago?) and I had walked in with my wife to show her the world of firearms. She was rather new at firearms so I was explaining to her all the type of weapons that were on display. There happened to be an AK-style weapon on display and I had begin to explain to her about it being a Kalshnikov-'STYLE' rifle. One of the women working behind the counter happened to hear me and interrupted me and made a strong point that that rifle is NOT a Kalshnikov. I kindly told her that I was well aware it was not a true Kalshnikov but just a copy/clone of an original. I essentially got blown off and I didn't feel satisfied with the interruption as my wife felt completely uncomfortable being there afterwards. We left and hadn't come back... UNTIL NOW!
Let me start off by saying, this place has completely changed my opinion now. I gave this place another chance a month ago when I felt reluctant to buy ammo here. It was closer to me than the other stores so I took my chances. I walked in and immediately was greeted with smiles and felt a sense of welcome coming in. I asked for blue man targets and specific ammo (which they had) and had a nice time doing a quick browse around their other weapons. What really struck it for me was the nice and warm comment right before I left by what I believe was the lovely owner. She told me, "Have a nice range day!" WOW! I was completely happy with the experience here!
I was so happy with this experience that I decided to buy an M&P 15-22 from here for my wife for Christmas a couple weeks later from buying the ammo and blue man targets and had yet another great experience purchasing my firearm here!
While my first time experience here was negative, I gave them a second chance and did not regret it at all! Thank you Bean Armory! I'm definitely coming back here on a...
Read moreWon't stand behind a used weapon that was purchased and wouldn't fire. So if you are in need of a paper weight go see them they will hook you up! Being as the owner has responded let's clear up what won't work with this weapon. First and foremost not everyone is able to test a weapon upon immediately leaving a store. Secondly it does not matter the type of ammunition type of ammo so long as it is of the correct caliber. Yes plus p is a little hot for that gun and would not have been my choice. But another thing you failed to mention is there were 2 different ammunitions tried. The plus p and a box of pmc 132 grain fmj amd neither would fire. However when the hammer falls and strikes the ammunition and it does not ignite due to a light strike that is an issue that has absolutely nothing to do with the functionality of the ammunition. You sir are 100% correct I have never purchased a gun from BEAN Armory and never will, I will also discourage anyone from buying anything from your establishment because an honorable man would've handled this when my 24 year old son came in to see you about the issue. You knew his job keeps him away for weeks at the time and that explains the month and a half from pickup to him returning with it. It's funny you didn't want to fix it but offered to buy it back at less than what it was purchased for when I called you to speak on the matter. If you can live with it I can live without it. I have already contacted a smith and will update the cost of the repair so you can see what the positive review would've costed you! Have a...
Read moreI came in Monday at 5:25 pm trying to transfer an item I had purchased. I was told that they could not do it because it was too close to closing, meanwhile there were multiple customers in the store still purchasing firearms. I’m disappointed in the subpar customer service I received. Fast forward to Thursday 12/7 I was confronted by the owner and made sure we were on the same “page” that this would be my last purchase and or transfer at this store. Very unprofessional in my opinion. Instead of confronting a customer who’s purchased multiple firearms , multiple transfers and have recommended them multiple times to people, they should work on their professionalism and customer service.
12/15 My review was not due to a sponsorship issue at all. In fact I purchased an item that day you said you couldn’t and then still transferred an item to your store. Making excuses for your garbage service is hilarious. The sponsorship issue by the way, we were putting your business name on the hat which would be more visible than on the jersey like I explained. Nobody was upset about it considering I got a sponsor with more money than I asked you guys. Please work on that customer service, making excuses just...
