If I could leave zero stars I would we went on the first day it opened we hadn't been out in quite along time and we had the worst experience the waitress seemed really out of it she kept mumbling and either couldn't hear us when we spoke to her or just wasn't listening her responses to our question were awkward it took forever to get out food and got the wrong order on one of our meals we ordered a plate to go for my son and they kept getting his order wrong after waiting along time for it we asked them to correct it twice and twice they gave it backto us without the correction that's three times including the first time we ordered it .The first time I asked for the order to be corrected they told me to go to the bar and ask them to fix the order the bartender seemed annoyed maybe because I interrupted his foul mouthed and inappropriate conversation with his co workers and some customers talking about another coworker or someone and money that was "mishandled" I was very annoyed already with the service and the wait but I calmly asked for my order and it was brought out the same way it was when I sent it back to be corrected I finally got the order it was a mess and the portions were very small for the price .I called it complain the next day as I was too frustrated and angry to call that same night but not surprising their phone service was not in working order it either didn't ring or rang and rang only to send me to a message that said not in service.I understand it was the first day but if they weren't prepared they shouldn't have opened it was such an unbelievably bad experience all around.I hope it gets better it would be a shame for a cool concept to fail because of failure to manage and train the staff and it isn't fair to try and go out for a much needed nice experience and...
Read moreWe came in an hour before closing, they were already breaking things down and moving chairs, you could tell all on their unwelcoming faces that they were ready to get outta there. I asked for coffee, she said no bc they already washed the mugs… ok? It’s ihop… coffee? Then a guy came in and said he would give her 20$ to make coffee and that’s when she said she’d bring me some. Ok. We ordered, I got the crispy chicken sandwich with bacon, sauce on side (ranch) husband got pancakes. They put some kind of Smokey sauce on mine, it was delicious and hot, but, still incorrect and having them remake it 30 min before closing would just make things worse in my opinion, I felt super uncomfortable there though,the vibe, everyone was closing down and staring. Server is nice but she doesn’t like half the menu so I couldn’t get much of a recommendation, so I went with the sandwhich. I personally work at a nearby restaurant and closing things down an hour before closing, no coffee, “get outta here”vibes. Not to mention the clash of decor, and all the stuff they did inside the establishment to make it look better, they still didn’t fix the stains in the ceiling from years years ago of water damage. Come on. It’s nasty and not healthy. I doubt we will be back, at this location anyways. A lot of lil details and links to be worked out still and that’s ok. Asked for kids menus and seater started he’s sorry he is tired from getting off at 11pm and asked to come in at 4am by management. Ordered food and it took over an hour to come out. We came on a Monday when it wasn’t too busy—no wait, open tables. We asked if the kids food could come out first if anything since our server kept apologizing for stuff taking so long and she stated she got in trouble last time she asked to do that. My food came out first. It was room temp. I ate for 10 minutes before the kids food arrived. Mu husband’s food never came out even though they said they were working on it over and over. The server brought us the check and said she “compensated” his meal. Felt like we were kicked out. My husband never got his food after being there for close to 2 hours. Asked server if his food would still be coming and she said no. Left upset and hungry. So really there was no compensation for anything. We just paid for what we received.
