Went here because I’d already been to the cute place across the street in the Augment (found out they’re closed on Sunday) and wanted to try a different shop. It’s cute, plenty of outdoor seating but the door was locked. “Kenny” was sitting on the patio and asked us to have them make a coffee for him as we walked over to the drive thru window to find out if that was our only option. We were told we would have to wait in the drive thru to order and then sit on their patio or we could order online but still need to wait in the drive thru (5 cars deep) to pick it up because they were understaffed (3 girls working) they were unable to open the walk in order counter. Walking back to our cars we spotted what turned out to be the owner? And she said the same thing. We got in our car to wait in the drive thru only to see the owner talk to “Kenny” and go back in and get him a coffee. We decided to skip the coffee but sat in our car just catching up. Whilst chatting we spotted 5 other people walking up to get coffee. 3 got their coffees and left, 2 were told the same thing we were (we were close enough to hear) and turned away. Four people were given their coffees and not made to wait in the drive thru like everyone else, this is a bad look and I will never know how good their coffee is because I will continue to go across the street and do without on Sunday when...
Read moreA cool business model owned & operated by a pair of local sisters & a great little drive-thru coffee shop located in downtown Seguin. HITS: Convenient, easy drive-thru service. Tasty coffees & drinks. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff. No-frills building design & structure with 2 picnic tables out front. A good option for fast made-coffees when you don't want to wait or sit in a coffee shop. Their coffee card program for a free cup!
MISSES: Inside the shop, menus & prices(!) are M.I.A. & not clearly posted. How much was my coffee again anyway? No placement for self-serve stir-sticks, lids, napkins, etc. Where's the decaf??went there today at 11a & the house couldn't make one, they had NO decaf so I had to leave empty-handed. This is a coffee shop! Rubbish cans inside & outdoors are non-existent. Front area picnic table is exposed, HOT & without shade umbrellas & vegetation. The short drive-thru driveway gets congested & clogged during busy times; parking is otherwise limited & extremely tight on the narrow...
Read moreThis coffee was just... No good. My partner used to come here a couple years ago all the time and loved it. He got what used to be his usual and couldn't even finish it. He said it was way too sweet and left him with a bad aftertaste and sick feeling. I got a blended drink, which I expected to be coffee, since it's a coffee place. They told me when they started making it that it wasn't coffee, and asked if that was fine. I made it clear that I want coffee and I want it to taste like coffee. The drink I got back was disgustingly sweet. I asked for something else because it was just way too sweet, and tasted nothing like coffee. The one sip I had made me feel gross. The person working there seemed very annoyed with my request. She made a new one but seemed annoyed and quickly turned away from me after handing me my new drink (which, by the way, was still way too sweet and isn't getting drank, but I didn't want to make any more of a fuss so I left). There goes almost 20 bucks literally down the drain....
