9/16 morning I placed a mobile order and went to the store to wait at the estimated time. I ended up waiting 25 minutes after the estimated time and could not wait anymore. So I let them know I cant wait any longer and if I can come back later to pick it up. They understood and said they would write my name down. I ended up calling that same day during lunch letting them know I don't see myself getting Starbucks in the afternoon but I would come the next morning and pick it up if they were okay with that. Morning of 9/17 I called and spoke with a Justin and was trying to explain him the situation. He said "oh so you placed the mobile order and did not just want to wait?" I told him no, I just could not wait any longer on top of what I was already waiting. He proceeded to tell me that for a refund I have to call the number on the app. I told him no I am not wanting a refund I just want the drink made and I can pick it up and I had already spoke with someone about it prior. He told me he was going to pass the phone to someone else because he has no idea what I am talking about and in his words "He really does not care." I found this really rude and disrespectful when I was in no way being rude whatsoever. Someone else came on the phone and told me again about the refund. I told her that I was not requesting a refund and I had explained that to Justin more than once. But after his attitude I decided that I will just request a refund because I did not want to deal with it any longer. Starbucks customer service did take care of me and issue me the refund so I am grateful for that. Read moreThis location is always busy, probably because is the only one in town. I was visiting Seguin because of my husband's work and stayed there for a few weeks so I got to visit this location a few times. Drive thru orders were always great just had. to do a big line of course because it was always busy, ordering inside is probably faster in my experience than doing that big line in car, (Yes I was there ordering 3 ways drive thru, inside and mobile). Mobile is were my problem was. I ordered ahead because I saw the big line from the hotel (we were staying in that area) it said ready in 9 to 12 minutes. I arrived probably 5 minutes after I placed the order and waited for about 20 minutes. That's were I realized something was going on, everyone in front of me was not there anymore and people coming after me already getting their orders. I came to the area where you pick up your drinks and ask if it was ready. Oh well I asked the wrong person because he said he didn't know and was just arriving to work. He couldn't check or asked someone else to help me, just ignored me and kept working. That's when I decided to ask the cashier to refund my money because I was there for almost half an hour for one drink and nothing. The cashier checked when I asked for my refund and realized they misplaced my coffee in the drive thru area. I understand you are super busy but that's unacceptable! Yes I got a refund and a $4 gift card but what about my time wasted? I just hope their service...
Read moreI don't go to Starbucks very often and it's so cold today I wanted to get something hot and different to drink and I'm so disappointed I ordered the new pistachio flavor latte to go and as I was driving I waited for it to cool a bit then started to sip on it but all I could taste was coffee and cream, there was no sweetness to it, no aftertaste or any hint of pistachio at all......but I didn't want to drive all the way back to complain or get it fixed as it would have cost the same in gas as I live far out in the country in Seguin.... just very VERY disappointed....I was really looking forward to it but the stars are for sweet good service at the counter and way better service than the Dutch Brothers which I tried to go to first but I sat in line for nearly 20 minutes before I could even get out of the line as so many cars were there waiting and there's an island that separated the two drive thru lanes so ya can't just move over or get out until you're two cars away from the ordering window..... There is no other way to order unless it's unfinished or something.... anyway, so I remembered that right around the corner is Starbucks which I will definitely go to instead from now on.....but will ask for extra flavor....... But I'm truly disappointed I could have made a plain cup of coffee at home.... I wasted my coupon that discounted the price to $3.00 this coffee plus a tip and I'm out that money.......
