El Caporal Restaurant — Restaurant in Selah

They are offering American fare but don’t know how to cook it. If you stick with the Mexican fare I think you’ll be satisfied, I ordered the t-bone and baked potato both inedible. Ended up paying $20 for chips and salsa. Update 9/27/19 Since when is a crema sauce a white cheese melted on top????? I was really craving what I ordered only to be disappointed by what I actually opened up when I got home. I was in no hurry and more than willing to wait (left half a margarita should have checked my order before I left) for your actual crema sauce. If you take anything of my review to heart if people are in such a hurry for their food send them to Taco Bell otherwise go back to cooking YOUR food like you did 5...

Low end wanna be Mexican food. The staff is less then attentive and the quality of the food is mediocre. They are the worst Mexican food in Selah. Their prices are very high for the quality of food. It usually comes out quick if you go during off hours. I had to ask twice for my side sauce and they brought a big boat of the wrong sauce. I also had to walk my tortillas to the kitchen to get the corn one I ordered and turn in the flour ones the waitress wrongly brought to me. I waited 30 minutes at the end of my meal for boxes. The waitress just stopped coming and checking on me. I ended up walking to the kitchen again and asked for some. I won't be returning. They are just never a good solid...

This place is garbage! !!!. Don't eat there.!!!!!!!!!!. the food is not authentic mexican food. But that's not the only downside. The food that they do serve is flavorless and with no seasoning whatsoever.. we ordered Carne Asada and 1lb of the Shrimp.. they tasted bland ad it gets.. the meat did not even look like it was seasoned at all....perhaps they should stop spending money on the take out containers and invest on better cooks with a better menu... I'm sorry selah people but, this place just does not cut it.. I hate to say this. But I rather encourage anyone who sees this to go to tacobell... atleast the food there has some sort of flavor... take it from someone who also hates tacobell...
