Hardee’s — Restaurant in Sellersburg

This is slowly becoming my favorite go-to fast-food chain. Everything I have tried tasted great! These are my favorites so far:

For breakfast, I would highly suggest that you try their biscuits and gravy - their biscuits are homemade and baked just right. The texture is crispy on the outside and soft and chew on the inside. It is also not too salty and you can tell that they are freshly made. The biscuits pair really well with their gravy, which is probably one of the best gravy's I have tasted thus far. If you are not a biscuits and gravy type of person, they also offer biscuit sandwiches and they are really good too!

For their regular menu, their chicken tenders are really crispy and juicy. For a fast-food chain, I cannot believe how delicious and perfectly cooked their chicken tenders are. One thing I wish they would do is to offer gravy as a side item all day long. I would love to enjoy their chicken tenders with a side of gravy.

For burgers, I highly recommend their mushroom and swiss burger. The patty itself is tasty and juicy, and the mushroom and swiss really complements the flavor and smokiness of the meat, without overpowering it.

I commend Hardee's for stepping up the fast-food chain game. Flavor and quality of food are on point. Pricing is on the higher end of the spectrum (and honestly, with the quality of food they provide, I really do not mind paying a dollar or two more than the usual fast food pricing.) Here is a Veterans Day story for you. The kids and I are unsupervised this weekend. They wanted to go to Hardee's for breakfast. I like to party, so we mounted up and headed to our local sellersburg location. While we were up there, a local Vietnam veteran walked in requesting a free Veterans Day sandwich. The cashier told him "that's only available in the app" and then the manager confirmed the cashier's statement and sent the veteran on his way. Some people in the dining room offered to pay for the guys breakfast but of course he declined. After the veteran left, one of the customers tried to talk to the manager about the situation. This ended in a small argument where the manager told the customer to "come at him a different way" Also, the food was terrible.

"Welcome Home" is written on the door of this place. If they had any cultural sensitivity to the Vietnam Veteran and knew of the reception they received upon returning from war, I hope this situation would have...

I originally had 5 stars... The food is great. However the service and attention to detail is way off. Hardee's is not close to my home. There are 6+ fast food restaurants that serve breakfast closer. But I still drive out to you all for the food. I am in a hurry and for the morning breakfast you all are busy. I guess I will have to remember to check the bag for everything moving forward. My last 3 app purchases, 2 combo meals with 2 lemonades. The first 2 orders forgot the Tots, to late to drive all the way back. The last order I checked and the Tots were there but they tried to give me coffee instead of the Cherry lemonade I order. I was not rude or upset about the mistake I just asked for the lemonade please, I get a "Fine" and an eye roll. On the app I asked for hot sauce for the burrito all 3 times and have never gotten it.
