Long wait times even when the inside of restaurant is closed and only one car in drive-through. I waited 20 minutes to pick up two orders that were scheduled to be ready when I arrived. They came to window and said they didn’t have lemonade so they could do the order. I explained my orders didn’t have a lemonade on it. A blonde lady proceeded to argue and I suggested she double check her screen. They told me to pull around and this time I had to wait in line for a few cars in front of me. They gave me the bag and I asked for the “Coke” that goes with it. She again argued with me that a “Coke” wasn’t on the order even after I showed them my order on my phone and the slip they stapled to the bag. The blonde lady started yelling again that there wasn’t a drink in the order. She was standing behind an African American woman at the window who was nice and professional. The woman said she wasn’t talking to me when she told me to pull around and she couldn’t hear me because he head phones were on. I spoke louder suggesting she view my phone showing a Coke on the order along with showing the slip in the bag that listed the Coke. She again argued and I for her name and she screamed it was none of my business. I requested the nice African American lady to speak with the manager and since I was feeling unsafe at the moment I had my phone ready to video. Right then the “alleged manager” said he was going to call the police and have me arrested for videotaping them and if I left that’s okay because the police would be coming to my house since it’s illegal to photograph or take a video at a restaurant. Then he pulled his phone out and said “Fine. I’ll video you!” I begged them to please just give me the Coke so I could deliver it to their customer. There was a lady in front of me in the drive-thru that was upset because her order was messed up. I don’t know if she had them all riled up or whatever but their service to me was beyond inappropriate when I, in fact, was doing them a service by delivering their customers orders. This location gets complained about a lot for bad service and long wait times but last night was over the top. The have openly stated they hate DoorDash and other delivery services and will always make them wait. Wendy’s on Park Street, St Pete, Fl, have now made my black list of...
Read moreI visited this location at the drive thru for a double pretzel baconator without mayonnaise, sandwich only, (recorded I supposed). I get home, and sit down and take a bite out of the sandwich to find out it has mayonnaise on it. So I head back to the drive thru and explain that I ask for no mayonnaise on my sandwich but received one with mayonnaise. The host who name is Autumn, replied we can make it again for you or give you your money back, It sounded kind of non customer friendly like, no apologies for their mistake. I responded, make me another one please, I recieved another sandwich but this time I pulled into a Wendy's parking space to check the burger before having to drive another 4 miles for a sandwich. I open up the rapper and find a triple baconator, no preztrel bun and no mayonnaise. Now I am going inside, open up the sandwich in front of the same person Autumn, showing that my sandwich was made wrong again. Autumn said to me the same thing she said at the drive thru, no apologies, just we can make you another one or your money back. I am agitated now, so I ask Autumn what was her name and where was her customer service skills (she wore a white shirt), she replied with the same response. I said, How do you know I can't get sick from mayonnaise, which I do not eat on anything and I requested No Mayonnaise on my sandwich, so you telling me this is how you make things right for your mistakes, Autumn replied with same response, I said, man just give me my money back, gave Autumn my card as requested by her and Autumn took the open sandwiches both times, received my card back with a refund slip. When I looked at the refund slip, Autumn made it out for a sandwich with mayonnaise. LOL!
Now I uderstand why people hold up the...
Read moreSheila and the general manager ROCK! Everyone else, not so much. The guy who waited on me first forgot my drink, then frosty. Today, sev days later realized my credit card was missing..I checked, last place used. This Wendy's sev days ago. So in addition to ev else he forgot to give me .he didn't give my credit card back. Called, spoke to GM and she said yes it's there and I can come pick it up. Nooo.. that's not convenient for me as I don't live nearby and won't be over that way anytime soon and this is due to no fault of my own. She agreed and said she was leaving soon and would drop it off to me. I'm SO highly impressed. I called later and spoke to Savannah and tried to explain what happened and ask when the other manager will be here. Savannah cut me off and rudely said " We don't do....deliver cards to customers". I told her I understand that's prob not normal procedure but the other manager I spoke to made an "exception" due to the incompetence of the guy who waited on me. She said I don't know WHO you talked to but we don't do that. I explained who the other manager was and she said it's her GM and she'll tell her to call me. Just then Sheila called me and was here with my card. Now THAT is customer service. If one of your employees screws up royally....make it right! Don't inconvenience the customer. Plus it's not what you say.......but how you say it (Savannah). Ps..Sheila wasn't the manager but she should be one. She was very polite and apologized on the guy's behalf. She was leaving work and offered to bring my card to me. Excellent customer service by Sheila and The...
