Would not recommend. My husband took me here because he had a nice dinner there a week ago. When we walked in we were told to "just sit wherever you want" by a annoyed waitress. The 2 booths which were open had crumbs on the table and the bench. I ordered a breakfast plate with over easy eggs, hash browns, corned beef hash and toast. When the eggs came out they were luke warm and the whites were still runny. Toast had no butter (you need to ask for butter) and the hash browns were only crispy on the outside with plenty of potato just steamed on the inside. No one came to check on us after the meal was served so I flagged down a waitress to try and get a small milk. She forgot about my request and continued serving others, and marrying ketchups and syrups. Ten minutes later she showed up with my milk. No one cleared any dishes from our table or asked if I needed a doggie bag so I just grabbed a to-go container from the stack myself. My husband went up to pay and told the cashier/waitress about the runny eggs (raw) and she asked if we were new to the area! He said "no" but he didn't appreciate being served cold, raw eggs to which she responded that she has worked in Connecticut and that's how they serve them there. Needless to say we will not be going back. Go to...
Read moreMy husband took me out for breakfast here for my first time and it was a horrible experience. Our waitress and the boss stayed leaned over the counter on their phones continuously gossiping. Our food was cold and we couldn’t get refills on my husbands coffee or my tea. Literally was going to fix my husband more coffee myself when my he gave in and asked another waitress for service. Everyone around us were being waited on. The waitress we asked for service we had to continue bothering for help. Thank God she was a sweetheart she stayed working the whole time. Helping everyone she could as her coworkers stood and talked away. We then waited an extra 20 minutes to get our bill after we were clearly done. The other waitress helped us with that too after we asked. We stood at the counter and waited an extra 6 minutes just to get checked out while our first waitress finished telling her gossip story and put her phone in her pocket. If it wouldn’t be for them splitting tips we wouldn’t have given one. Needless to say we will never be...
Read moreI eat here several times a week. The staff is very friendly. The food is always delicious, hot and cooked just as I order it. I feel like I am eating with family. The menu has many types of items from breakfast items like omelets, waffles, biscuits, country ham to sandwiches such as the club, juicy burgers and Philly cheese steak. Breakfast is always perfect. The Western Omelet is my favorite with fresh ingredients and cooked perfectly. They do a wonderful job with cooking the bacon just like you order it.There are daily specials too. The chicken and dumplings are homemade like my grandma made them. Sometimes they have pot roast, with a rich thick sauce. They always have a wide variety of sides such as Waldorf salad, cherry salad, millionaire salad, lima beans, fried okra, sweet potato fries and so much more. The desserts are homemade also. Wonderful place to eat...
