If you’re craving a hearty pizza experience, East of Chicago in Seville, Ohio, is a must-try. They serve some of the best pies I’ve ever had from any pizza chain. Their deep-dish pizzas are particularly impressive, and they truly deliver a satisfying meal.

The classic offerings—pepperoni, sausage, and cheese—are outstanding. Each pie is generously topped with an even layer of cheese that melts beautifully, creating a perfect balance with the savory toppings. The dough is just right—not too doughy, not too dry—making for a delicious crust that holds everything together.

I did have one disappointing experience with their taco pizza. It was packed with an overwhelming amount of lettuce and sour cream, making it look unappetizing and far from what we expected. Unfortunately, it was so off-putting that we couldn’t bring ourselves to eat it. I felt bad for wasting a whole pizza, but I just couldn’t get past the sight and smell of it.

Despite that hiccup, East of Chicago has consistently impressed me with their deep-dish offerings. My wife often picks up our orders, and I’ve noticed that the pizza boxes are well-designed to keep the heat in and the food warm, with tightly sealed lids that ensure freshness.

One thing to keep in mind is that I’ve had some issues trying to place orders when they’re open, as there have been times when nobody answered the phone. While I understand that they might be busy restocking, it can be a bit frustrating.

Generally I love my east of Chicago Taco pizza. The last 4 or 5 times have been not so much. Tonight we ordered a stuffed crust Taco pizza, and a stuffed crust pepperoni. Usually it's late, and not so warm. Tonight was the absolute worst. We got some very sweet stuffed crust on both pizzas, the rest you had to use a spoon for it was so thin. We were told it's the way you ordered it, there is nothing we can do for you! If i pay more for a stuffed crust the rest should be normal, no it's not the way I ordered it, it is the way you ripped me off though!!!!! If the 'owner/manager' knew anything about his online ordering system, we would not have ended up with pizzas with NO CHEESE ON HALF. It is impossible (literally, I tested it) to order a pizza with half no cheese and half with cheese through the online ordering system. So, their staff messed up, and he blamed it on me, all the while some random rude lady is yelling in the background 'LEARN HOW TO ORDER.'
