A little bit expensive not bad food a little over halfway through my meal I found a blank hair in my food I couldn't finish my food and I couldn't complain at all my husband really enjoyed it and he's a picky guy also he found hair in his food from my favorite Chinese place and we've never been back he threw all the food out if it gets aggravating like in a drive thru or inside a restaurant he will pay and walk out and then never return it's annoying usually he will drive away from the drive thru speaker he won't send food back to be corrected won't accept replacement food period he's picky and quick to bail he actually enjoyed the food about $40 we ordered a margarita each he had the coranarita I'm cheap i had rail margarita so his mood was a little less tense anyway so you got the whole story the next night we had The Farmers Table not far from there also the next day east of Chicago pizza amazing now The Farmers Table is LIFE the best food I have ever eaten in my entire life all farm fresh best food in my life $40 well worth it he gave a $10 we are strapped for cash honestly so that was a little steep for us it was perfect our service was over the top amazing best place to eat real food we were extremely full did not ever feel disgusting or sick never had the urgency to find a restroom (sorry) we felt good, healthy, fed. Definitely will be returning every chance we're in town and pushing this place like I am heading the marketing team ok! We cut the food with just our forks it was so delicious I wish we had $100 to tip the server was perfect food was incredible ps it's at the farmers square built in with the farmers market omg it was so much more...

I love Mexican food! To leave a restaurant happy my standard is typically, ‘just don’t mess it up’. However, every now and then I stumble across something great. It’s clear when a restaurant is actually trying instead of trying to sail by and ‘not mess it up.’

I stumbled across just such a place at El Patron. It was one of the best I’ve been to. It was clear they put effort into everything they make.

The chips and salsa are always a great telltale sign. Here, the chips were warm and salsa was tasty. We were off to a great start. We got margaritas- which were also awesome.

The other places a Mexican restaurant can typically do the bare minimum are their rice, beans, chicken, and ground beef. This is especially true of the rice. Typically rice at these restaurants is dry and flavorless. This rice was awesome and full of flavor. If you get good rice- you know you’re in a good spot. The beans were also great.

My burrito have fajita chicken- which I enjoyed. And I tried my son’s beef burrito and the ground beef had a lot of flavor.

They typical meal prices were in the $12-$15 range- but the quality was worth it. It was busy in there on a Saturday night and I can see why. If you’re looking for a New Mexican restaurant to try- please put this one...

Changing my review from 5 stars to 2. and I'm not sure why I'm even giving that. We used to love this place! Every weekend, this was our spot! But now, it's never consistent.. not even the margaritas. Last time we were there, our server completely forgot about us. Brought the wrong drinks, repeatedly, forgot a margarita was ordered, then 50 minutes into sitting there, with empty drinks, she came back and asked what we had ordered. We then received our food.. which wasn't even warm. After the server tried to make us pay full price for everything, my boyfriend spoke with the manager and he gave us our meals for free. We still tipped the waitress because we get it, sometimes you just have a bad day. Today, we ordered takeout. 2 fajita meals and neither were seasoned. Very bland, no flavor at all. So weird! Also, $4 for queso and got very very little. Thoroughly disappointed! We...

I was looking for a FRESH new place to take my wife on date night, and THIS restaurant had GREAT reviews! I have nothing but GREAT things to say about EL PATRON!! The service was fantastic, the workers were very HELPFUL and DELIGHTFUL! The food was DELICIOUS! I was able to tell that the COOKS were WELL EDUCATED!! All of the flavors that come from the food were AMAZING. I had the SUPER FAJITA and could not believe how much food I received!! PLENTY OF EVERYTHING!! Including meats. My wife for the NACHO FAJITAS, and it was a HUMONGOUS PILE of nachos, covered in cheese, guacamole, sour cream, fajita meat.... and MORE!!! Waitress was kind, and ready to help us no matter what it was, felt VERY WELL TAKEN CARE OF. We will return more than once!!! (: Sorry the photos of my fajita came out blurry, next time I will pay more attention. (:

My first time here and it is great. I met a colleague for lunch. The menu is easy to navigate and there are a nice selection of food options. The service was very attentive and fun as well. I chose fajitas and my colleague chose the fajita burrito. She said hers was excellent as was mine. The protein was well cooked with good flavor and the vegetables we're nicely grilled, still crunchy. I did not try any of the cocktails but after speaking with the owner about my experience he gave me a preview and I will be looking forward to coming back soon. If you like Mexican, this is a fantastic option located just a few minutes off the highway. Enjoy
