KFC — Restaurant in Shallotte

I rarely do bad reviews on this platform however I feel as if this one really needs to be addressed. I am not sure if it is a staffing issue or a management issue however I had a very terrible experience in this kfc When I rolled over to the window and obtained my food I went to check if the order was correct as anyone would, and I didn't take too long to notice that we were missing one order of medium fries. Then the kfc worker in the window said to keep moving up ahead to check my food, but again it didn't even take me few seconds to notice I was missing something. So then I told the worker that we were missing medium fries and then he responds in an angrily tone, "bruh you didn't even check the bag." And I responded saying, " I just did." I handed the bag over back to him and he snatches it off my hands. He then goes back to the kitchen and adds the missing item that I pointed out, throws the bag back to me and slams the window shut. I was very surprised to see that kind of reaction in a customer service facility. I understand that everyone has their bad days, but you should not have that attitude towards your customers and I believe this kfc needs to be looked over. And not only that, but the burgers I received were the wrong ones. So not only did my family and I experience terrible customer service, but we also lost money from getting the wrong orders. Please do not hire people that do not want...

This place is nasty. Went in on 8-19-24. Floors were all wet. One person inside eating. In the parking lot was a vehicle with kfc apparel inside which looked as someone was living inside. Anyway. Ordered 2 of the chicken strip meal's. Spoke w the owner. Seemed nice. I thought it was weird only one person was eating. He told me I just missed the crowd. Uh huh. I should have left when I saw one person eating. Anyway we spoke more and he told us that he was planning on firing the majority of his crew and getting new help. This was said in the presence of his workers. Id of walked out if I was working there. Anyway We got our food. Asked for bbq and ranch to dip in. Went to get our drinks and the soda dispenser didnt have any syrup in the flavors. Lemonade was just water.

Got home. Opened up the boxes and no sauce. And the chicken was like rubber. Looked like it had been reheated and old. Tried it and it was awful. No crispy. This place is a joke. Food is foul. Stay away from this place if you don't want...

The cashier was unfriendly to us, but having a good ol' time with the other employees - yelling and joking with them. They were cutting up and having a blast, while multiple people were waiting to order or waiting for their food. But, that wasn't too annoying. The worst parts were - there was NO ice in the dining room drink machine. None. We told the staff, but nothing was done about it. There was NO tea in the dispensers in the dining room. Again, alerted the staff, but they did nothing. And, the men's bathroom smelled so rotten, I had to hold my breath while I washed my hands. Not kidding, the only bathroom I've ever encountered that smelled worse was one at the beach in the heat of summer. It was nauseating.
