Bob Evans — Restaurant in Shamokin Dam

My husband and I walked into the restaurant and as we walked through we noticed most of the tables were dirty with dishes some even had dirty rags on them. They sat us at a tiny table with an old man sitting directly behind me. I had no room to move. We ordered our meals. The hash browns were burnt and my husband never received his drink. As we sat waiting for our food and while eating none of the tables were clean. Most of the servers walked by the empty tables and never picked up any dirty dishes or anything. Our server never took any of our dishes and we had no room for anything.

When we left, we asked to speak to the manager. We told her how terrible the restaurant look and she needs to do a better job. She explained she has only been there an hour. We we're there an hour and we never saw her walk through and inspect the restaurant.

If I were the one, I would be looking for...

This was TERRIBLE!!! My biscuits tasted of dish soap, and they forgot to give my innocent baby boy a kid's menu!!! 😡😡😡 On top of ALL of that, my eggs were over EASY instead of over MEDIUM the nerve of those cooks I could just feel they did it on purpose to ruin my day. Do I have to spell it out? M-E-D-I-U-M, MEDIUM!!! I am absolutely enraged by the time I wasted here today I will never get back... We will never be— occasionally—coming back here ever again!!! 😤😤😤

p.s. can someone please tell me how to undo the three extra stars at the top? they won't go away. and while you're at it, stop and take the three dollar tip from the third table...

Food was not good, service was lousy. We came in an hour and 20 minutes before closing time. Everyone wanted to just leave. Then when we were leaving the guy ringing us out said it was our fault for coming in late. We will never come back for such lousy food and service and then be told it is our fault!!! I had a burger, it was so greasy the bun was falling apart. My wife had chicken and biscuits, the chicken was almost burned, the biscuits were hockey pucks. She found 1 very burnt French fry with her chicken. There was a piece of stuffing in her mashed potatoes. My mother in law had soup and a sandwich. The soup tasted like a tin can and the turkey was fatty. The hostess was sad that we came in and was almost crying when he sat us. He wanted to go home and couldn't because we were there.
