KFC — Restaurant in Shamokin Dam

I don't go out to often unless I'm going to the doctor but this was special my husband took me for my birthday. I have cancer and don't get to do things I liked to do, but my sweet husband takes me out to eat you know trying different restaurants. On Sunday evening Kevin and I came in I had the special beef stroganoff over rice better then homemade also a side salad,large amounts that I took home and ate late great warm-ups. Kevin had chicken steak sub and 🍟. I love the sweet tea southern kid. Kevin water. We enjoyed our selfs there we will be going back again. If you read my post with cancer treatments it changes your taste I love love sugar 😋 but now not so much which surprised me about the tea. Yummy 😆. I also had covid 3x which changed my tastes 😜. The place was up 💓 beat friendly, didn't rush you. Had a great birthday with my husband of 39yrs God bless him, God bless everyone that reads this posts, enjoy this place and fabulous food. I've always had an awful experience here. Missing items, wrong orders, they cheaped out on the cup holder and it folded in half when I lifted it up and spilled all my drinks all over me. They also cheaped out on the lids for their sides so they pop open, covering my entire bag in gravy. But the worst was when I ordered a few meals for the family, they forgot a whole meal. When I got home I called and they said as a COURTESY they would replace it. When I told them not to act like it's a courtesy because it was their mistake the manager told me I could call corporate and they would send me a voucher in the mail for a meal. I told him I paid cash and I wanted a refund because they didn't deserve my money anymore and he said it was against policy to give refunds YES EVEN FOR MISSING ITEMS. I never went back. I lost out on $10 but I won't ever buy food...

Thought I'd give it a try after not going for a few years. Gave my order for a 3pc meal, paid with cc but didn't bother looking at the receipt. Got home, opened it up, I had chicken tenders or fingers, whatever they're called. Pulled out the receipt, charged 16.00 and some change when my original order was only 9.54.

Still 1 star. Obviously the odds of this happening are astronomical or this simply happens daily. You decide.

Drive thru is covered with potholes, dirty appearance inside. I rarely go here anymore. I ordered a 3 piece chicken meal. The 3rd piece was a tiny burnt piece of that should have been thrown out but their employee put it in my box. Never went back after that, especially for the price you pay.
