Awful experience! We drove 45 minutes to have dinner here for my mom's birthday. We arrived and were greeted by a young girl with no personality and no friendliness, as if we were bothering her. We were taken to our seat and provided chips and salsa. We then proceeded to sit there for 15-20 minutes while every single "waitress" working AND the host, walked around the restaurant chit chatting and cleaning the 2 tables that were dirty. They all made eye contact with us multiple times and saw we had no drinks, menus still, and no service. After waiting for 20 minutes and having every waitress look at us and not serve us or ask if we have been served, we decided we would leave. I went to the bar and told the bartender and waitress (who were talking), that we had been sitting there for 20 minutes, they said "Oh, sorry we will be right there", I advised the waitress and bartender that we were leaving and did not wish to eat there and the waitress said, "She told me about you but I forgot." No...you did not. You made eye contact with us 5 times, and walked the other way each time. Nobody cared, and the 4 tables that were in our section all knew we weren't getting served because they all kept looking at us. I will never step foot in this establishment again. To whomever owns it, your staff is in dire need of training. They need to learn how to serve their guests and acknowledge when a mistake is made. Nobody cared that we sat there for 20 minutes and we got no real apology. I'm disgusted and my mom is upset as well. Her birthday dinner was ruined by your establishment and lack...
Read moreWe were driving 8 hours from upstate New York to Virginia..thought it would be quick but it was one of the worst service ever. We were seated within 5 minutes. The server came immediately and asked for our drinks. We got the drinks and he delivered the nacho chips with salsa..and after a while then he came and took our order. My parents ordered the fish dinner. My husband ordered the beef taco with cilantro and i ordered a hard shell fish taco which was supposed to have 3 sides. The order was made at approx 6:15 to 6:20. The server did NOT check on us until 1 hour later at 7;20 " Can i bring you anything else? Like refills?".. i answered the waiter.. Can u just please follow up on our food order? We have been waiting for a while??" He said he would check...and after 20 min the order came. The fish dinner was good. My husbands beef soft taco was okay. And my order was completely wrong: soft shell.. and worst fish taco I've ever had ! a few pieces of fish scantilly placed and only 1 refried beans. The menu said the sides were refried beans, guacamole and mexican rice and so i asked the waiter and he said no only refried beans! We waited so long my husband did not want me to complain since we were in a rush I was so unimpressed with the order i did not even take a picture and post it. Will never go again. Don't go here! Awful service and food not so good. The other table behind us had excellent service as the waiter was...
Read moreVisited this place on the way back from Selinsgrove to Bloomsburg. The building isn't anything too gorgeous, but don't let that deter you. Also, when I went (1/8/2018) they were cash-only, so bring those greenbacks. There was a bar in the back, but it was all dark and closed down. The place was BYOB for my visit. But despite these possible hiccups, we got served a delectable Mexican feast for a reasonable price. I forgot to ask our server his name, but he was a big guy with a happy smile and he was very polite and friendly. I had Burrito de la Roqueta, which is a burrito stuffed with super flavorful pulled pork and topped with cheese, ranchero sauce, and pico de gallo. It was flawless in my opinion; I devoured the whole thing. Had a nice soft chicken taco on the side too. My girlfriend got the Enchiladas Verdes, which is 3 enchiladas (cheese, chicken, beef) smothered in salsa verde, and she ate all of them. A couple bites I snagged confirmed hers was delicious too. Another awesome Mexican place in PA!
Note: The menu here is very similar to Playa Cancun in Bloomsburg and Galera Dos in Danville. I think they may be run by the same family/company, and chance are if you like one, you'll...
