This was legitimately one of the worst service experiences I've ever had. Full disclosure: I could have done some things to prevent this. But, I don't feel I should have had to triple-check things at ANY service provider, food or otherwise.
Friday of Labor Day weekend, so I get it's busy, especially with their location. I pulled with my camper trailer, pulled up to the drive-through, and ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches, a coffee, 2 DIFFERENT breakfast sandwiches, and another drink. I was given my total, and asked to pull up.
When I arrived at the window, they told me my food wasn't ready, and asked me to park so they could bring it out. I told them, politely, that I couldn't; there's no parking for vehicles towing trailers. They apologized, and said they would do their best to get the food out. My order miraculously appeared, but sans the first 2 sandwiches I ordered. They hadn't even entered them.
Then, I pulled forward just enough to no longer completely block the drive-through, and ran inside to place an order at the counter for the SAME TWO SANDWICHES I ORIGINALLY ORDERED. I spoke clearly. I was polite. I thanked the person who took my order.
When I got out to my car to hand my wife the sandwiches we had ordered (TWICE!) for her, they were still wrong. Two of the exact WRONG sandwiches.
I could have checked the order board, and I did. I made an assumption that it scrolled up, and my original two sandwiches were on there, just no longer visible. I could have (and at this point, SHOULD have) checked my receipt on my counter order to make sure it was right.
But....I shouldn't have to. I work in a service industry. It's not hard to pay attention to a client or to double-check an order. And, I feel like it's your job, as the service provider, to do so. The onus is on you.
You failed, McDonalds. No more business from me. Sorry, but...
Read moreWorst experience I have ever had at a drive through. Stopped in the evening after some shopping. Waited in the drive through line for 20 mins for a #1 Big Mac and #2 a double quarter pounder I believe. Drive 20 mins home and silly me never checked the bag as I have never had issues at this store.
Sit down and open the bag and there is 2 - 10 piece chicken nuggets. So I call abs speak to the manager who asked if I could come back for the correct items. I said sure even though this would be a 40 min round trip. Get back to McDonald’s wait 5 mins in the line they had it already at the window, I checked the bag and correct items are in there now.
Drive home sit down to eat and take a huge bit out of my sandwich and it moo ‘ed at me and winked, which by the way wasn’t a double quarter pounder unless the meat was just that raw the Pattie’s melted back together. It was completely raw never cooked through as you can see from the picture. So disgusted as I felt that it was done intentionally for complaining and in a very polite way that we got the wrong order the first time. I was not going to go back once again to the same manager and god know what I would get decided to try and contact the franchise owner. From previous friends who were employees I knew it was a lawyer from Allentown. It is impossible to get through the McDonald’s corporate wall to get contact info or even names of these franchise owners that I have given up and decided to just share my experience when I wasn’t going to. Hope this helps the next person who’s thinking about stopping at this store. If you do check abs double...
Read moreThere’s an employee that causes issues her name is Amy. She was extremely rude to my friend and me through the drive thru. I seen her coughing in her hands and she didn’t even wash them and then started messing with the food. It’s disgusting in all honesty not only that but there’s absolutely no teamwork they’re extremely unorganized. I’ll never be eating here again. The managers were extremely disrespectful as well and when confronted about their employee who I mentioned in the above, they did nothing and then banned my friend from even door dashing being able to pick up her orders from there when she didn’t even speak one word the entire time it was me who was saying something, but yet she got banned so make it make sense. So not only are they messing with her money but they’re messing with her three-year-olds money and needs as well and the police have already been notified and now the Better Business bureau is getting a phone call tomorrow as well about this specific establishment and the employees they choose to hire. Also, I was already on the phone with corporate this evening and there is an investigation into this employee and I really hope she gets fired soon because the Better Business Bureau is going to make sure of...
