This five-star review is not for the food or the atmosphere it is for the service we had from the waitress name Hannah. My girlfriend's and I went out to dinner after shopping in shamokin dam PA .We waited for our food for about 30 minutes no big deal We were not in a hurry but then a different waitress came out and she threw three trays of fries on our table which were not the correct fries. She was not our waitress. Hannah came out and asked how everything was I explained to her that I got the wrong type of fries and she had no problem going in the back and getting them. About 10 minutes later my girlfriend's burgers come out and she explains to me that the cook had just now put my chicken into the fryer so they were not charging me for my chicken which was nice but absolutely unnecessary. So when my a chicken came out it was really good. But the two burgers that my girlfriends got were completely burnt. Hannah asked if they would like them remade. They said no they just wanted to let her know as she had asked how everything was. She went to tell the manager and the manager comped the burgers too. Which was unnecessary but it was nice plus she also gave two gift cards for our next time there. So we wanted the check split three ways and Hannah couldn't figure out how to do it so the manager just comp the whole meal. but Hannah was so amazing that we insisted that she charged us something that way we could each tip her. We asked if she would at least charge us for a drinks. What they ended up doing was charging one drink and splitting it three ways. That was also very nice but in the end we ended up giving Hannah a $30 tip. She kept apologizing and we understand it she had no control over the situation as there were new cooks in the back and the manager was very awesome too. I wasn't sure what the manager's name is but she was pretty great as well. Calm under pressure so this five-star review is not for the food not for the atmosphere or the ambience it was for the server and the manager....
Read moreService and food used to be great. Now, not so much. My order was cold and obviously left out for a while. While the manager offered to remake the meal, we already had been waiting at our table for 40 minutes for our food and the server only came once at the beginning to take the order (which took 10 minutes for the server to get to us) and one other time for a refill after 25 minutes. When the food came, it was originally placed on the wrong table. Instead of remaking the food as it was handled by the other table, this server (not our main server, only the one who served the food) brought the food over to our table and gave it to us. When asked if everything was ok I told the server my food was cold. All they said was “ok”. A few minutes later the manager came out and offered to have the food remade. I told them to take it off because I didn’t have another 40 minutes to wait. What gets me is the manager could have fixed it by offering to give me a basket of fries while I waited for the burger to be remade. To back track, why would they get the manager if I never asked for them. Is this what “core” education has done to our next generation? That is when I realized how bad the service is that the manager themselves must not believe the staff. I honestly wasn’t going to say no to them remaking it but the manager literally said “I can take it off the bill” and proceeded to take the burger. Well of course if you don’t even stand by your own cooks by offering to remake it. What are they worried their cooks will do, a kick flip on it or something? What a big waste of time on...

Dining Area: To start with, the arrangement of the dining area has you about 2 feet from the next table on a shared bench (like a fast food restaurant). I felt like I was having a conversation with my family AND the couple next to us and both parties were speaking quietly. There wasn't even room for the server to stand next to our table. On top of that the location of our table received a long, cold burst of air every time someone came in the door because the door closure took forever to close the door.
Food & Drinks: we ordered a margarita and a mojito, both which were VERY watered down. We're not big drinkers but they were weak, even for us! My burger was tasty but COMPLETELY pink throughout inside. I'm okay with rare, but I ordered it medium well.
Service: This was the highlight of our visit (and what rescued this review from 1 star). Our server was nice, helpful, and prompt, which was why I didn't complain about my rare burger (I didn't want to be "that guy" any more than this review already makes me).
