Villa Nova Ristorante — Restaurant in Sharon Township

Edited on 2/9/24.... 2/8/24 Here for lunch I ordered from the special's board 7inch pizza with 2 toppings for only $7.00 sausage and extra cheese yummy, my husband had their 1/2 Italian sub with a side salad 🥗 for only $6.00 😋 Heather is our server. Very polite, prompt and pleasant! Gotta love Villa Nova. Thanks Heather for great service!!!

12/10/23 Back for lunch. I'm having their seafood fettuccine it comes with a salad 🥗 and bread sticks. My husband is having sausage with extra cheese 🍕🧀 always delicious 😋 great service and great atmosphere!

5/25/23... Our appetizer was Hodge Podge. We shared a salad and lasagna. Heather was a wonderful server! She was prompt greeting us, checked on us when our food arrived. Refilled our beverages and cleared plates for us. Thank you to all of the staff at Villa Nova!! If you haven't tried their wonderful service and food you're missing out 👏😋I highly recommend as I always have.

We placed a order for 1 large item pizza to go. Tuesdays special rocks for the price... It was delicious as always!!

11/20/22.... Our server Kylie was amazing!! Prompt, polite, patient, really a nice person. I went with wedding soup and lasagna. My husband had a 15inch pepperoni pizza. It was all really good 😋

4/5/22... My husband and I are having dinner here tonight. I ordered crab, scallops in a butter sauce with Rigatoni pasta ☺️ My husband went with their Tuesday special 1 topping for $12.00 it's available for dine in or carry out.

Are family and friends have been coming to Villa Nova, we have a large family we usually set reservations because we always have 6 to 25 in our group. They are always ready for us the service is great, attentive and anyone of our server's have been very patient with our large family orders even with separate checks. My favorite has always been the sausage and mushroom pizza and salad, my husband loves their subs. Other family and friends love their pasta dishes, salads, bread sticks are all delicious. We'll certainly continue to frequent this wonderful restaurant.... Thank you for serving our community with great service and delicious food!!

6 / 22 19.... Back for lunch today with my husband. He ordered their Ruben sandwich and fries. I went with Seafood Fettuccine which comes with garlic bread sticks and soup or salad we shared the salad. We had really good service, food in a very comfortable and pleasant environment 😊 We love the Villa Nova as long as they're here we will...

I ate an absolutely delicious meal recently [7-26-2022] at Villa Nova Ristorante.

Since I am a non-driver, I rarely travel north of the Graceland Shopping Center.

In order to be able to travel to Villa Nova Ristorante via public transit, I took a #2 COTA [Central Ohio Transit Authority] bus to "the end of the line" [near the Ohio State School for the Blind that used to be "out in the country" between Columbus and Worthington]; I then walked six blocks or so north to Villa Nova.

I had studied the Villa Nova menu on-line before my visit there and had made the following food choice before my arrival: Pasta Sampler [spaghetti, ravioli, gnocchi, and lasagna]. My Pasta Sampler had been served with bread sticks [with garlic butter] and Italian wedding soup.

The food at Villa Nova Ristorante is superb, the portions are huge. My Pasta Sampler had included sufficient food to serve as two meals; I decided to take the remaining half of my food home to eat the following day.

The entire time while I had been at Villa Nova, the dining room had been extremely crowded. It had been absolutely clear to me, during my visit there, that Villa Nova is a neighborhood favorite.

The tables at Villa Nova Ristorante are far closer together than I would have preferred.

Navigating my very crowded dining room so that I would be able to take a picture of a very interesting "FIRE EXIT" sign [that had been attached to one of the doors] had required that I attempt to use several possible routes to that sign before finding a route to that sign that would actually work.

Taking a photograph of that "FIRE EXIT" sign had also required that I briefly stand only about two feet from another customer.

The next time I visit Villa Nova Ristorante, I plan to visit during the middle afternoon when I am certain that they will be...

This rating would have been much improved had service been decent. But the poor service caused a change in atmosphere. You see this was our second time ever here. Our first time was so underwhelming I had no desire to go back. But tonight decided to give it another shot. And you know what? I just said I would come again if asked to eat there UNTIL shortly after we sat without drinks. Our waitress went past but didn’t even check our drinks. We shouldn’t have to ask. That’s what a waitress job is. It’s making sure your customers are taken care of. This is where good tips come in. We are very good tippers. But we aren’t when service ruins our experience. Tips aren’t based only on the final bill. It’s based on being served. It’s a service we pay for. So when we had to ask another waitress for refills so we could finish eating it was received with an attitude. Attitude because we weren’t her table. Attitude when the drink was brought. Attitude when we thanked her and apologized for having BOTHERED her. How do we know she gave attitude to us and that’s not just how she is? Because we watched her at multiple other tables be sweeter than pie to them. We wouldn’t have bothered her or anyone else had we been able to get our waitresses attention. Had she actually treated us nice we would have given her a cash tip vs leaving on the card where she may not see it. But two waitresses missed out on a decent tip by them not taking care of us and leaving us hang. We sat so long after finishing eating we joked about just laying in the booth and taking a nap and let someone wake us when they was ready to finish up with us. So 2/2 visits and very underwhelmed for different reasons. First time was food quality. This time was service. Unfortunate.
