7/23/23.....What a terrible experience today with a carry out. I placed a order for a large thin crust with ham, tomato and extra cheese. I repeated my order at least 2x. The girl repeated it back to me correctly finally. My husband picked up at the drive thru. Another inexperienced worker greeted my husband we had a coupon for $2.00 off a large. Last time we received the coupon back because it doesn't expire until 8/27/23. The guy at the window today said "it's a one time only" what in the world!!?? When my husband returned home I saw that there was no ham on our pizza. I called the store manger I believe she said her name was Lashondra? It was difficult to understand her. She said our order was incorrectly placed in the system. No apologies, She never even offered to correct our order. Nothing!!!! I'm not sure she's qualified to be a manager? That's my opinion. Needless to say they're plenty of pizza restaurants in our area. We will not be returning to the location closes to our house. Very disappointed today!!
I don't usually eat in at many chain pizza restaurants. It's a nice sunny day finally 🌞 I felt like a fresh salad. Cashier was friendly it wasn't busy she brought my salad to my table. I had to try their Chicken Caprese Salad. It comes as a side salad or entrée I got the entrée size it's huge you can definitely share or have as I am "my meal" very good mix of flavors, textures, really fresh greens, tomatoes, fresh mozzarella cheese, lots of grilled chicken strips it's delicious 😊 The inside of the restaurant was clean, well stocked with to go menus, napkins, plastic ware, condiments etc... The tables and chairs, floor was clean!! I took a look in the ladies restroom again I was impressed with how clean it was 🌟 We maybe eating in here more...
Read moreThis location is a hit or miss, most of the time it’s a miss! I have lived in this neighborhood for almost 3 years and once it became 2025 this restaurant has struggled. I have simple orders! I love a veggie sub and I do modify my sub. Depending on who is working will depend on how my sub looks and tastes. I order my veggie sub with no onion, no Italian dressing, and well done baked. I cannot tell you how many times this has been done wrong and I’ve had to call the store and have them remake it, and run back to the store. I may be 7 mins away but how annoying is the inconvenience. There is a woman in there that makes the sub amazing every time but unfortunately she is not always at the sub station. She has told me multiple times that she needs to train others on how to properly build the sub and have them toast the bread separately from toasting the toppings. Well I wish everyone would get it right ! Long story short, I decided to do this review today because my order from my sub issue to the pizza quality has pushed me over the edge. It’s so bad that I want to get a job there just to be the next person at the sub station who makes superb subs. It’s not that hard! So here are photos of my order last night. *My sub was poorly made, my individual cheese pizza looked a mess! The sub was saturated in Italian dressing to the point there was a large puddle in the box. No tomatoes on it, barely any toppings other than a bunch of lettuce and banana peppers. This pizza came just as it looks. It looks like someone separated the slices and it’s just not attractive to look at. There is a huge speed bump in the middle as well. I am so disappointed and I wish they would get new management...
Read moreI ate for my first time on 9-15-2023] at Donatos Worthington at 5388 N. High St. [near the northern boundary of the "Clintonville" neighborhood of Columbus].
Since I am a regular customer at Donatos Upper Arlington and know the Donatos menu quite well, I used my smartphone to order my favorite Donatos food item -- while standing near the Village Green in Worthington -- and then walked slightly longer than one mile southward to Donatos Worthington.
My food choice on 9-15-2023 had been a Big Don® Italian with Sausage Crumbles [oven baked with shaved ham, sliced salami, smoked Provolone, family recipe sausage, banana peppers, freshly cut Roma tomatoes, lettuce, and house Italian dressing].
My Big Don® Italian with Sausage Crumbles had been ready soon after I had arrived at Donatos Worthington; my food had been as delicious as my food always is whenever I eat at Donatos.
After I had finished my meal and had resumed my walking journey south to Morse Rd., I noticed that Donatos Worthington is located at the intersection of N. High St. and Charleston Ave.
I paused my southward journey for a moment -- while crossing Charleston Ave. -- and looked eastward hoping that I might see people dancing "The Charleston" [that dance from the 1920s] in the middle of the street.
Sadly, no one had been dancing within my view so I continued walking...
