Let me explain the rating. Food 4 : Service 0. We went in around 7pm, it was not busy. The person that took our order was Victoria. I can not call her a server because she has no concept of the definition. Horrible listening skills, sarcastic attitude, unprofessional demeanor, and an overall disinterest in what she should be doing. The downhill slide continued when we only ordered water to drink. She started to walk away and we all looked at her with wonder when she didn’t offer us menus. As afterthought she turned around and in a snarky voice asked if we wanted menus. The food took quite a while to come out. When it arrived we still had no silverware or napkins. after about 6-7 minutes she came over and asked if everything was ok. We had to ask for silverware and napkins. They showed up about 10 minutes later. One person in our party ordered a cue ball dessert. After about 30 minutes went by, Victoria said she forgot to order it because another party ordered 7 pizzas and her head was all over the place. So another 15 minutes goes by and the dessert shows up. At this point I asked for the check. That also seemed to surprise her. Our drinks were empty for most of the meal. I went up to the bar to pay because I had no idea how long it would be before we saw her again. We had full vision of the pool tables and bar area and she was very rarely visible. Needless to say I would go back for the food, however if she was our server I would find somewhere...
Read moreAs the name implies, there is food and there are plentiful pool tables for rent to the tune of $7-10 per hour, depending on the chosen table. The tables are nice and well maintained and the cue selection was better than I expected! I cover the billiards bit here because what needs to be said is the choice to put "restaurant" first in the name is clearly intentional...
That's because the food here is REALLY GOOD. You wouldn't expect a pool hall to put out anything to call home about, but this place is interesting. Looking at the menu, the food choices all have a classic sort of theme consistent with what you'd expect from this type of venue, with your sandwiches and burgers and fries, but then they hit you with COUNTRY FRIED STEAK DIPPERS, served with gravy to dip them in. It was BRILLIANT. Ended up buying another plate because they were demolished within five minutes.
Service was excellent, even given how busy it was on a Friday night. Our server did a great job handling the group we brought in to celebrate a friend's birthday and we all couldn't have been more pleased with the experience!
Whether you're looking for a place to casually play pool, chill and celebrate an occasion with friends, or you're a more serious player looking for other people to sharpen your skills with, this is the place to go! I'll definitely be going back to this place in the near...
Read moreThe food and atmosphere is great here. But the service is trash. I’m not willing to rank them 5 stars in any category, they don’t deserve any positivity for how embarrassed we were. After we sat down we were served drinks within the first 3-5 minutes, we already knew what we wanted to order in that time frame. The gentleman told us our server would be right over to take our order. That’s fine. 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes later, nothing. Not a follow up or I’ll be right with you or anything. Notice in the photos it was not very busy at all. In between serving drinks it would’ve been nice to do a courtesy check? 20 minutes later we made the decision to leave after paying for my wife’s Dr. Pepper. I wouldn’t have minded waiting for the food if it was being prepared or if it was cooking, but we hadn’t heard a peep since getting our drinks. THEN our server finally approached us, after we started to get up. Not even a “hello” or “sorry for the wait”. Instead she’s asks us, “Are you guys ready to order?” This place needs to better train their staff. They need a training program, specifically on manners or courtesy. So I respond, “we’ve been ready to order”. To which my wife added, “No thanks, I think we’re going to leave after I pay...
