Pros:
Helped quickly one entered in.
Owner was present, and stopped by and made small talk and made sure everything was alright.
Live music
Large bar.
Cons:
The noise level was too high. It’s smaller, open dining room with a good amount of echo. The live music had an amp/speaker that wasn’t necessary. more noise = more casual, less noise = upscale/intimate
For a bar and grill it didn’t have many TVs which is great for the atmosphere but probably not the best place to go to to watch a sports game.
Drink came 7-9 minutes later than ordered. It’s one thing for the kitchen to be busy but for a drink it’s a bit much. .
The kitchen did take their time as well. 30-40 minutes until I received one burger and some fries. This wasn’t a huge deal but if you are marketing yourself as a high end bar and grill, serving 55$ steak and ahi tuna then taking a while on food becomes more apparent.
Burger and fries were no longer hot and was pretty lukewarm. Different cheese than I had ordered, not sure if it was the kitchen or waitress, but if they can’t get a cheese on the burger right then it doesn’t give me much hope for a 50$ dish come out flawless.
The burger was very mundane and meh. They did have a plant based options that was sold out, and gluten free buns as a plus, but as far as the actual toppings I was expecting more creativity to justify the price tag, it just tasted like a burger from a diner.
It came with fries, which is go to bar food, but they were more like potato straws. Think McDonald’s fries but smaller and cooked less, pretty underwhelming.
After talking with staff, reservations seemed to be expected which is interesting for a bar and grill.
To me it has a blurred image of upscale kitchen and a typical bar/Applebee’s. I had good expectations not having bee there before, and walked away unimpressed with the food, service, and atmosphere. For upscale food and atmosphere, I would give business to both Bar Verona and Da Francescos over Booma.
I hate to seem critical and give less than 5 stars so I’ll stop back in a few months and see if anything has changed, if so I’ll...

I had the immense pleasure of celebrating a birthday party at Booma Bar & Kitchen, where we were a lively group of over 30 people. The venue was outstanding, accommodating our large party with ease, making the occasion all the more special.
The atmosphere at Booma Bar & Kitchen is perfect for big gatherings, like our birthday celebration. The ambiance is incredibly inviting, and the blend of great music curated by the talented DJ only added to our enjoyment.
Vince, the owner, and Darrel, the manager, went above and beyond to ensure our large group felt comfortable and looked after. The servers, with Fjorela leading the charge alongside Darrel, were nothing but gracious and efficient, handling our sizable party with professionalism and charm.
As for the food, it was a culinary masterpiece. The shrimp scampi and filet mignon were prepared with a level of excellence that I can confidently say was the best I've had anywhere. The Caesar salad was crisp and well-dressed, the French onion soup was hearty and warming, and the espresso martinis were mixed to perfection. Ending the meal with a delectable dessert was the cherry on top of an already fantastic dining experience.
The prime cuts of meat, the skillful cook, and the chef's attention to detail were evident and much appreciated by our party of over 30 guests.
Booma Bar & Kitchen is more than just a restaurant; it's an experience that brings people together. The staff's friendliness and the high-quality food make it a place you'd never want to leave. I absolutely love this place for creating such a memorable birthday event. If you're looking for an establishment that promises great food and an even greater time, look no further. Read moreTonight was my second experience at Booma. I will preface this review by saying, my first experience, I left a $40 tip on a $60 bill. That’s how absolutely amazing the atmosphere, servers, drinks and food were. After a long day in customer service myself, we were really looking forward to another wonderful experience at a place so beautifully decorated for the holiday season. Tonight, we came in at 830 when they close at 10pm. When we walked in, we were ignored by three separate servers to be seated. Then, Olivia walked up to us. She immediately had a cocky attitude and asked if we had reservations because on “fridays and saturdays it is recommended.” Mind you, we went on Wednesday. Next we waited about ten minutes for the server, Dylan, to greet us. We ordered our drinks and waited about another ten minutes for them to be made and Dylan to come take our order. Not awful, but we were 1 of 3 tables and the other two had already cashed out. The bartender rinsed out a dirty shaker with fountain water and called it good. The food was cold, green beans were hard and orders were wrong. Dylan was nice but never informed us of his name and was just less than enthusiastic. The staff was eating their food visibly and more worried with closing chores an hour early than the customers in the restaurant. I know there’s always off days but overall is was a horrible experience from the moment we walked in and sadly, that was enough for us to not...
