CUGINOZ' — Restaurant in Shelby Charter Township

First time we went was on a Saturday, And this time at dinner hour on a Wednesday. First time was great, this time missed the mark on so many levels. Only TWO people working the phones, the kitchen, the counter nd the DoorDash orders. 10 minutes until we could order, we were the only ones there. We paid $74 for three sandwiches, onion rings and mushrooms. We waited 30 minutes for our order which he said would be 10 min. We could see they were overwhelmed. While we waited, two people brought their packaged food back because the bag was swimming in aujus. Sure enough, we received ours, same issue. Every sandwich was sitting in a puddle of aujus. I mean who wants a soggy toasted sandwich? It was gross. We had to clean off all the containers to open them. The sides were cold, not even warm.

Driving by saw the sign for Italian beef. Ordered the Cugino with peppers on the side. Fantastic sandwich mild peppers worked well and loved the dip sauce that came with it. potato wedges were perfection too. Talked to the owner he said hes been open a few months.
