I have never dealt with such blatant unprofessionalism and disrespect as I did tonight at this Subway location.
My husband placed an online order that I went and picked up. When I got there for pick up, I kid you not, there was not a single person in the restaurant. When I got home? Our food was ice cold. Literally straight out of a cooler, cold. That's usually a great sign if you order cold cuts but considering we asked for all of our sandwiches to be toasted, it was not ideal. My husband was upset and went back up to the restaurant himself. This is the second time we've had an issue with this.
He walked in and asked for our food to be remade. Instead of apologizing for getting it wrong and remaking it or refunding the order, the associate working (Riley or Catherine, not sure whos the associate and who's the manager) copped an attitude and started running her mouth. I know because I was on Facetime with him the entire time. The associate was cussing at him and asked him to leave several times (over not remaking our food that they messed up or just giving a refund) - and eventually actually called the police and had my husband banned from the restaurant. Now my husband did exchange words and we take responsibility for that but it's a little bit ridiculous that it even got to that point of $20 worth of freakin' sandwiches.
The manager wasn't even on-site, she showed up at some point later and refunded our money then the police escorted my husband out of the restaurant (stay with me, over an associate not wanting to remake food they messed up or just giving us a refund).
The workforce is clearly going downhill and humanity is surely doomed if this is the behavior we're allowing toward people who paid for something. What a sad sad world we live in where we can't even get sandwiches remade when they get messed up.
We're doomed.

Read moreI just visited this subway for the first time. I always visit the one on the main drag in Shelby but I saw this one and decided to stop in. The staff was great The food was great. The unfortunate part of my visit was the manager who was constantly nagging and complaining to her staff who were overly friendly and more than happy to oblige whatever she asked. She was nasty to them it made my experience bad because I had to hear her constantly nagging at the much older lady and the younger lady. It was almost like she was looking for a fight. And honestly I almost said something and decided it probably wasn't my business to do so. She wasn't very friendly to me when I checked out either she didn't tell me to have a good day she was nagging and complaining to her staff instead of catering to me. She barely even spoke and didn't even look at me I almost felt offended by it. If you come to this Subway folks hope you don't get the manager maybe she can tuck herself away somewhere you will have an enjoyable time. The other staff made it pleasurable and tolerable. If she keeps on acting like this she's going to be in there by herself cuz people ain't going to put up with that stuff. Especially right now when we have more jobs...
Read moreI purchased 4 subs online when I got to the store at the time for pickup my sandwiches were not even started. So she started working on them. Never once apologized for the wait and proceeded to fix a lady that came in after me food before doing mine. Even offered her cookies for her wait which she didn’t have a wait but not once even offered me a cup of water. I got gone an upon opening the sandwiches I noticed that everything sandwich was heavily saturated with oil. It looked like she poured the entire bottle of oil on every sandwich one sandwich had ranch and there was an entire bottle on that one. I called and asked for the mgr and was told she would be in the next morning. I took pics of the food and trashed them. Spent $30 and could not eat not one sandwich. They were all inedible. I spoke with the mgr the next morning she told me I needed to bring in half the sandwich in order to be made over at this point I need my money back.
