Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Shelbyville

If there was an option for negative stars I would use it! We love Zaxby's food! However, the Zaxby's in Shelbyville, TN is the worst Zaxby's I have ever seen! Customer service is severely lacking! They are not supposed to close until 10 but on multiple occasions, pre Covid, we would go in to eat around 8:30 and they would have already closed down 3/4 of their dining room. We even witnessed them start turning down dining room business at 9:30 before...saying they were closed before their doors were even locked! Tonight we attempted to go through the drive-thru behind another car. It was 9:07 when we pulled up. Signs and online both said they close at 10. However, they told me that they were closed!!! This Zaxby's either needs new management or they need to find people who want to work! At the very least, they need to replace their evening shift! I would rather drive out of my way to the Zaxby's on 231 in Murfreesboro (where we have never had such a problem) than eat at this Zaxby. At least they seem to want to work and know how to properly serve. If your hours are different, then you need to advertise...

I go to this location about once a week on my break at work every time I go in there they say they do not have shakes today I go in there while I'm ordering something to eat and ask if they have shakes they said yes we do I proceed to order and tell them that I'll be ordering two before I leave. About 10 minutes later I go to order the shakes and another girl working the drive-through proceeds to tell me they are out I said well I was just told 10 minutes ago that you do have shakes And she proceeds to tell me she's not sure why I was told that but They don't. Due note this location is normally not busy, and you normally have to wait several minutes before anyone comes to the counter to take your order. I myself work in food service and don't tend to make a bad review but every time I come to this location they are always "out of shakes" which is the only reason I come to that location and the staff is very unpleasant. This will probably be the last time I enter this location. And the only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the food itself is normally...

When I ordered the five piece meal here, almost $10, they informed me that they were out of Zak sauce. Ok cool. I ordered ranch to go with it. When they call my number I go up and I see they have put a tiny cup of sauce on my tray. Inside the cup ranch fills up about 1/4th of the area. I politely ask the woman at the counter for another cup since it isn't much sauce. She proceeds to ring up other customers until another employee comes along. I wait as I understand the first couple needed service. She then states, "I don't have time for him. See what he wants.". I explain and the worker informs me that they are almost out of ranch and that it would be 25 cents for another sauce. Can you imagine paying a quarter for a thimble full of sauce on a credit card after you have already paid for a $10 meal? I handed the ranch back and asked for a blue cheese since they couldn't give me even a ranch pack. So that's what I got....1....just one pack of blue cheese for a 5 piece chicken plate with fries. The whole chain just lost...
