Wayback Burgers — Restaurant in Shelbyville

I was in the area and saw this place and wanted to give it a try. It was 11 am and only one person was there. A guy with a heavy European accent. I ordered the rodeo burger and a double cheeseburger fries with both. I also ordered a chocolate milkshake. The burgers were ok. Nothing mind blowing about them. He did put alot of sauce on the rodeo burger that had to be scraped off. The double cheeseburger had something like romaine for the lettuce. When I bit into it, it was tough to chew and did not break up at all so I took them off. The chocolate milkshake is the main reason for 3 stars. When he gave it to me, it was white with no sign of chocolate color or flavor. It also had a very runny and thin consistency. I showed it to him and asked if he could add more chocolate syrup to it. He responded saying it's chocolate..its chocolate. No it was vanilla. He added more chocolate syrup to it and gave it back to me. He didn't even mix it up. I had to tell him to mix it up please. Now it was close to a chocolate milk shake in flavor. I don't understand why places that sell chocolate milkshakes can't use chocolate ice cream at least. If I'm in the area I'll try it again if there is someone else working. If he's there,...

My wife and I ate lunch here for the first time on Thursday October 17, 2024. We were happily greeted and waited on by Barbara. She was very nice the entire visit. We both ordered the "Impossible Melt", French Fries and Chocolate Milkshakes. The French Fries were fantastic, just right crispy, hot and fresh. The Chocolate Milkshake was thick and very good. The Impossible Melt was not so good. It was thin and so greasy that the bun was mushy and falling apart but tasted ok. I would never order the Impossible Melt ever again but I may go back for fries and a shake. Overall spending almost twenty dollars is way overpriced for two not so good melts, decent...

horrible experience today, ordered my food and then my money was taken then raw meat was thrown in the grill and then the buns were being assembled all wile the man was with the same gloves from the beginning. I asked the man for my money back and he screamed at me why?? what's the problem??
