This is a perfect example of why you always ask a local what you should try. I was meeting my parents up in Sheldon and I felt like I had been to the same restaurants in that town every time. I asked my aunt that lives in town where she would recommend and she said Brady‘s Pub. I had never heard of it but after looking at the menu, I was more than excited to try it. After checking with the restaurant on accessibility, we met there and I was very impressed. It was a clean, updated, rustic vibe of a restaurant that was packed full of locals having a good time. The menu was extensive but everything sounded delicious. I love going to places that put their own spin on traditional options like burgers, sandwiches, etc. I will say for being so busy that the staff did a great job of staying on top of things. They were very friendly and reminded me why I love some small town restaurants. Of course we had to start with an order of tots. We opted for the totchos. What I loved about these was that they weren’t just fried and thrown together, they were seasoned, topped with fresh ingredients, and packed with flavor. My dad went with the smokehouse gourmet hotdog, which was wrapped in bacon and topped with pulled pork, coleslaw, and BBQ sauce. My sandwich was pretty tasty, but not very photogenic. I also opted for the sweet potato fries which were really good, but seasoned with brown sugar I think which made them sweeter than I would probably want, but maybe you’re into that.

Needless to say, if you are passing through or find yourself in Sheldon, I would highly recommend...

What a pleasant surprise!! This is definitely a local hangout pub where the patrons are close to employees. Something that we love to see when we're on the road.

Our server Kayla was so proud of her employers that she praised the chef's culinary schooling and the superb dishes that he creates. She also gave a nod to her co worker that got a best server award. Kayla suggested several good options and I chose the mushroom bacon burger. My husband chose the braised fried chicken. The food was damn good my eyes rolled!!! I've never eaten a full burger, but that one I did!!! So many flavors in each bite. The chicken wasn't greasy at all. Even the breast was moist. The lightly covered coating was very flavorful!

I love to try the local beer, so I started off with a Ruthie's Exile. It was a lighter beer that could've been a little colder for me. (I like my beer really cold.) Then had to try what the locals were drinking, a Busch beer with green olives in it! YEP, olives!!! One and done for me even though I love olives, but not in my beer. Lol!

I would SO recommend coming here. There was so many interesting selections of food. That I want to come back and try.

Thank you Brady's Pub for a nice...

It was Saturday night and I was feeling a little parched. I decided to stop at Brady's Pub in Sheldon for a refreshing adult beverage. I walk in and belly up to the bar. I was immediately met with a "hey handsome, can I mix you a drink?" by the owner. He poured me a drink and delivered it with a wink and a smile. Even though I'm into chicks I was quite flattered. I took a drink and looked up at the tv in front of me. I almost spit up my perfectly mixed whiskey when I saw what was playing. The classic Sylvester Stallone film "Over The Top" Good atmosphere, good drinks, good tv, good tunes, great bartenders and wait staff. I have to say Brady's Pub is second to none. At one point there was a slight mishap with one of the food orders and Brady and Tracy had a few heated words. I was waiting for Tracy to just destroy him but everything was settled professionally and civilly. Just like Lincoln Hawk I feel victorious and everything going forward is going to be just fine. Thank...

Made the motorcycle ride from Sioux City to Brady’s Pub for lunch. Found out when we got there they had just started opening on Saturdays for lunch. I hope they continue that tradition because the food was amazing, and service was best service hands down I have ever received. Absolutely will be making this run again!
