This is the most amazing historical museum I’ve ever been to. It is so beautifully laid out with fascinating displays about Sheldon and Iowa. I love antiques and if it was a store, I would have gone broke!!
The building, built by Andrew Carnegie is beautiful and has all the original touches. It used to be the library. So many generous people have contributed to the success of the museum. I was lucky enough to be shown around by the wonderful Millie Vos, Ralph Hollander, Jr and Dave Perrott. This museum rivals many museums in NY. I learned so much about Iowa.
